  1. We had a couple of forgers here on the forum, but they caught up with them...probably Cuomo has turned them loose by now.... You might talk to Culver, though..I think he may have slipped through the cracks...
  2. I promise I'll maintain a social distance of 6 feet from my nightcrawlers...
  3. Pretty calm down here in Dogpatch, too.....My birdfeeders didn't swing more than a couple of inches... There may have been enough rain to color up the creeks though, so I think I'll go fishing in the morning.. Don't tell Cuomo....
  4. That explains why I enjoy fishing downwind of you, my Little Pussycat !! I worked at an A&P store as a grocery clerk from age 17 until 21, when I spent two years working for Uncle Sam aboard a USNR Destroyer... After that I worked for a year as a laborer building pallets in a local woodworking shop until I got lucky and was hired for the job eventually retired from...
  5. Nice rig for one of you pump gun boys ( or girls) out there...
  6. I'm no piano man..My specialty is the vertical harmonica....
  7. I haven't seen any cows fly by yet...Still pretty calm down here in Dogpatch... They are predicting the worst of the wind this afternoon, however...

  9. Helluva grass carp, Andrew....Gonna turn him into sushi ?
  10. Come on Bill....You have to take Jerry up on his offer...All those naiive, simple minded private land gobblers just waiting to be shot... I'll even show up and buy you a sasparrilla at the local saloon, if they are open by then....Or if not, I'll drive over and blow you kisses from my truck 20 yards downwind !!
  11. I'm retired.....Work 30 years for a local industry as an engineering technician in the Research and Development Division... A lot of my hands on work involved fabricating items ( such as prototypes) out of glass and ceramic materials using standard machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders etc. equipped with diamond tooling …..
  12. How about Walter Brennan ? That would be the worst omission of all... Maybe he's there and I missed him..
  13. AND Woodrow Call.....Any relation ? Your great , great Uncle WOODY, perhaps ?
  14. Been there, My Friend.....Sorry... Mine ended after 35 years...That was 14 years ago and I am much better now, but there are some things that you never really get over...
  15. I had trouble identifying some of the characters, but I certainly hope Warren Oates, Lee Van Cleef, Robert J Wilke, and Gene Evans were there....
  16. That's close, depending on how fat they were...
  17. I love it....The guys with their ties and the creases in their trousers...
  18. As Rob says, it won't make you sick as long as it has been constantly frozen...Taste and texture might suffer, however...
  19. Gabby was born Stannards, near Wellsville..
  20. He's out in the kitchen stir-frying a duck..At least that's what he SAID he was doing to the duck....
  21. It looks like the Ritz Café here in Dogpatch, on a Saturday night back in 1968....
  22. Many of the big bucks come from that northwest corner of Steuben...Generally, the hunting gets better for BIG bucks the farther north you go in the county...Down here in Dogpatch along the Pennsyltucky border, it's most those little baby scrub bucks like I shamelessly shoot... Steuben is a big county...
  23. So, considering social distancing, there were eleven and two thirds people in line...
  24. My favorite carry out is Little Lisa from Mabel's House of Pleasure....As an added bonus, she walks back home by herself after we are done...
  25. Ain't no deer down here in Dogpatch... I see MENDON has the best adult buck numbers....Hmmmm Where have I heard that name ?
