  1. ...teaching your child/children to shoot? What did you start them on..bb gun? 22? How old were you when you learned? Are there state regulations that dictate that YET?
  2. The activities listed above are not meant for comedy. They ae unfortunately used only in movies and music videos so the "stars" can gain some "street cred." Pretty sad.
  3. Check out this reply to Jim Carrey....Greg gutfeld ripped him a new A-hole so maybe Carrey's career will soar again with a newer improved place to speak from. http://dailycaller.com/2013/03/25/greg-gutfeld-rips-jim-carrey-as-a-pathetic-tool-sad-little-freak-jiberring-mess/
  4. "Diving with the Stars" just started a new season?
  5. What's "a heck of a deal" run ya these days?

    Pet's

Geez, I asked about "borrowing" some rabbit's feet from my buddy's kid deceased petand I was almost run out of town. Now it's OKAY to stuff a full pet. Damn I'm confused! Guess its not TOO late to get the shovel!
  7. I had a stabilizer on my first bow and just assumed i would need one for my new mission bow. Guy in the shop recommended I shoot without a stabilize first..good groups. Then put on the stabilize and shot a very similar group. I decided to shoot without one and never really missed having it.
  8. There was a 6" "smile" in my grandmothers molding by the front door that I asked about one time. My mother told me that it was from a frying pan my grandmother threw at my uncle when he came home too tipsy and very late. While much of that house was re-painted over the years, she would never allow that touched up...good reminder for all those who entered. Respect the rules and all is ok.
  9. Had a nice chuckle the other day at work when a young mother of a hockey player said, "I love dicks but I'm sick of spending my whole weekend there"
  10. I just found this 22 zephyr starter pistol(1930 I think) in my father's old dresser. Anyone know anything about its value? Says model 2 on the paperwork inside of box and i even have a small container of the starter caps. All things seem in good working condition.
  11. Interesting. I sent that along to the manager of the deer management program in westchester I am a part of. The large goal is forest regeneration not deer harvesting although both are closely connected.
  12. Only way to make the game safer is to force all fields back to natural surface to slow down these genetic freaks..then go back to leather helmets and limited pads. I promise there will be no intentional head to head contact with the protection of a helmet.
  13. Here's the link to check your stock: http://www.fda.gov/safety/recalls/ucm342851.htm Thankfully my bunch is good.
  14. Bow...I didn't even take the gun out this season. Bow hunted westchester during the open gun season and arrowed my first doe on dec23. Now that I have the first one under my belt, may break the gun out again next year. There is just something about being so close, so quiet(even during and after the shot), so still...I'm pretty hooked on the bow.
  15. Nice. Your first pic in your last post just shows how hard it really is to find these things. To the right of your find (peaking out from the snow)looks like the matching shed!
  16. That's my plan for Georgia where we will need to obey speed limits!
  17. We just told the kids (9 year old girl; 8 year old twin boys) that we ae doing this and we want their input so I am looking to have a map made of the trip with some major cities along the way so they can eat pick of some things to do. Where can I find a map like that? Are there custom map makers out there....worldwide web here I come!
  18. We, gun owners/hunters are a tiny pimple on the ass of NY. there is no changing or swaying polls in our favor. If you think I have a defeatist attitude it's because I live in a suburb of NYC my whole life. People look at me like I am nuts when I tell them my hunting exploits.
  19. ...under $15 per bottle. I'm not much of a in guy, but do like different wine when they are presented. I don't believe in expensive Wines when there seems to be so many out there at a reasonable price
  20. I'm happy with mine as well. I like the compact-ness. Main reason is because I killed my first deer with it this year after two years bowhunting pior to this year.
