  1. She noticed something out of place (had cam mounted on a post in the open, as there was no tree), but she got over it, and accepted it. Those does and fawns are at the pond multiple times each day.
  2. Anyone else not able to open? Trying to post direct link again... http://vid216.photobucket.com/albums/cc54/CabinFeverBob/PICT0139_zps8a0eebb7.mp4
  3. Thankfully, I can process my deer right at camp. By the time it's transported, it's packaged in freezer bags, wrapped in freezer paper, and stacked in a cooler! Some have even been known to be stuffed into jars too!
  4. Had a cam set up by my pond. Got a video that I thought was kinda cool. I've never seen a deer bury it's head so deep into the water before! LOL Looks like she's eating vegetation off the bottom of the pond. OK, the fawns playing with momma are pretty darn cute too! http://vid216.photobucket.com/albums/cc54/CabinFeverBob/PICT0139_zps8a0eebb7.mp4
  5. Decided to throw in a new trailcam or two (or three ) this year also.
  6. The first month that I had my cams out, I only had pics of 3 bucks. And even then, it was only 1 pic of 2 different bucks and 4-5 pics of another. Not a lot! Then, I moved all my cams 300-400 yards deeper into the woods. Now, it seems like most of the pics that I get are bucks!
  7. Don't think so. I got my lifetime license last week, but my son (same last name and same address) still hasn't received his.
  8. I thought it was a pretty cool pic with the empty treestand in the background! Decided to make this my desktop background! I had a trailcam stolen from this same spot 2-3 years ago! Thankfully the dirtbag (errr... I mean "suspect") moved away last year, so I felt safe putting another cam in this spot. Well, pretty safe anyway, that's why I put my old-sacrificial-lamb-Scoutguard in this spot!
  9. Good choice! Can't go wrong with an 30-06! Ammo for an 06 should be easier to come by, than with other calibers.
  10. Looks like they're starting to lose their summer coat.
  11. Some crappy quality from moving shots...
  12. Got several pics of this guy on 3 different cams in the past week that are scattered 400-500 yards apart. If you look directly above his head, you can see one of my stands about 12 yards away!
  13. Got this pic recently and thought it was pretty cute.
  14. My lifetime license came in the mail today, but my son's didn't. Same last name and same address too. Wonder how they decide which ones get sent out first?
  15. That was awesome! Love the posturing leading up to the fight!
  16. Jackpot!! Looks like he had a great memorable hunt too!
  17. These are the instructions that I've followed. Simple to do, get great results, and you appreciate it a lot more knowing that you did it yourself. http://www.taxidermy.net/forum/index.php/topic,125076.0.html
  18. I agree Grow. Same people get very confrontational and belittle anyone that disagrees with them. Can't just voice their opinion and let it go! It's gotta go on, page after page after page, instead of just taking it to PM's. Where they get their energy, I don't know! Lifes to short and stressful as it is! Screw that!
  19. Just moved a cam to this spot. Got 2-3 bucks that I haven't seen before. Only got crappy pics, so I had to edit to enlarge or clean up to see them better.
