  1. You have to be kidding me, that's amazing, what is he like 15 pointer? Thanks for sharing....
  2. I was thinking the same thing, you get paid to do what? LOL I also agree they should allowed local hunting clubs to take care of "the problem", they pay taxes...
  3. Give this guy a call, I heard they are good. Malafy's Meat Processing LLC 287 Milan Hill Rd. Red Hook, NY 12571 (845) 876-6303
  4. Not sure about your situation in WNY and these sharpshooters, Over here in the Hudson Valley when the local University cleans its property from deer with sharpshooters the entire county knows about it, so I would suspect more locals would know what's going on, ask local state trooper. All I can say that for the last 10 hunting days I saw 2 does, my money is still on that warm weather, they just ain't moving.
  5. So, do we know what he died of? Heart attack or something like that? My condolences to the family!
  6. The scent thing is the biggest marketing scam ever invented, it is a great money maker, scent this, scent that...BS I say. My Grandpa used to smell like a tobacco bag and beer...lol...and he always got the biggest buck in the camp. The deer sleep on my front lawn where they can small my truck, my garbage, my guns, my socks...you get the picture and they don't care a bit...this scent paranoia made someone really rich...I wish it was me :-)
  7. where in the regs do you see that Pygmy? I never unload my AR magazines, just keep them away from the gun, that's it...
  8. With Ramstain adding drama to it...priceless... nice shot !!!!
  9. You are right Jen, I have 3 of them on my front lawn every evening after dark, not a care in the world even if I park my truck right next to them, I could almost hear them saying: "...I ain't going into the woods, it's too scary out there..."!!! LOL
  10. If I were you I would go first with someone who knows what they are doing, go and see what they do, ask ton of questions, live and learn, then do it yourself. This ain't a video game, this is 300 pounds animal and firearms...stay safe out there bro....
  11. What do you mean by "you ppl"? ...LOL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAlVKgl_zCQ Seriously I'm with G-Man on this one, this is not worth it, just be a nice guy and take a high road...he won't bug you anymore this year, he is done, he is tagged out...

It is too hot in the Hudson Valley, I think they all went nocturnal, I see signs allover the place just no deer to be seen during the day. I see the does start moving when I leave after legal shooting hours, plus tons of road kills....oh well, we can't control the nature....
  13. Great shot, congrats. What's your location The FieldArcher?

  19. ...if you make a mistake you have a Filet Mignon...Hmm, tempting :-)
  20. Since the opening weekend in NY I didn't see a lot so I decided to venture to my neighbor state to the right- CT. Over 200 acres of private land and I saw a lot of rubs, scrapes and scat all over the place, all fresh, just no movement. I guess all that travel is done at night when is a bit cooler, that 65-50 degrees, gotta stop soon...
  21. Thanks WNY, I don't know how I missed that.....I will try some tricks with my FoxPro now :-)
