For 8K i'll go to Utah and shoot the same size bull on a private ranch. -
Another shot of O'Connell st. After 6 days of heavy fighting, most of these buildings were destroyed.

I was in Ireland last week, the country is gearing up for the big anniversary. It's all over Dublin. I stopped in at the GPO, general post office, to see the memorial. Very moving.

I bought a Parker eagle 2 years ago, had a Hoyt legacy circa 1991 before that. It was like going from a mini van to a Ferrari ! I've taken 4 deer in the last 2 years with the eagle, love the bow.

I'm seeing plenty in Huntington, every day on the corner of Woodbury rd and Pulaski, eventually I'm gonna hit one.

To understand the man one needs to visit sagamore hill in oyster bay. Almost all authors who have written a book on TR have spent time there to get a feel for the man. Avoid books like Theodore Rex by Edmund Morris, who portrays his passion for hunting as a "blood lust". My wife is the museum curator at sagamore hill NHS so we're a little passionate about the our youngest president here on Long Island.

I'm told next to the Boy Scout camp off 97, I was there when he was put on the scale. 150 on the nose.

Seems like a good year for 3H, I saw this big 10 ptr at cochecton , field dressed at 150 lbs. biggest body I've ever seen on a buck, he looked like a Schwarzenegger!

My gun season ended at 7:15. I barely had enough time to settle in, heard him making a scrap inside some mountain laurel then stepped out onto a trail and made a fateful turn towards me.

I was out yesterday, took this guy about 8am, although his tarcel gland was dark and pungent , he was casually walking thru the woods browsing, no sign of rut that I could see.

Well the warm temps had me questioning going out today in Suffolk county, nailed a nice doe at 7:30, decided to hang out a little longer, well mr big comes walking in 30 min later, and I took my best buck with a bow to date, 8 ptr with one tine snapped off.

Could be a community rub, more than 1 buck. But if not then he's a beast.

I found a bucket I use in the woods about 50 yards away from where I had it placed. The Bears got playful and smacked it around. I got the bucket back with teeth marks all over it. -
The 800 lb gorilla in the room is the deer issue in Nassau county. They are becoming an issue in cove neck/oyster bay. It's going to have to be dealt with in the near future. Their roaming around my residential area in Huntington village.

I'm in lake Huntington, not far from there. Some of the highest density of bears in the state is that area of Sullivan County.
