  1. Terrible disease...one day at a time is all I can offer. It helped us out when our father went through this. Ten year journey for us. Hang in there.
  2. Strict...betcha the fairways are real nice when carts are not allowed, and that's good.
  3. Are riding carts an option?
  4. I don't know about favorite jar sauces, but when I read electric meters on the west side of Buffalo, I was given some samples of homemade sauce made by the older generation at that time, and let me tell you, was that sauce good! They all seemed to have that down in the basement stove. Always something bubbling downstairs...damn good time....and sauce...with bread...
  5. That district will have another kick at the can in about a year, and send the idiot back to the bar.
  6. I wonder about the government a lot, but were they RE-introducing the wolf to that area of the country, as opposed to introducing wolves to the area? If a re-introduction, I may be able to see why, but if the locals were not informed or talked to before, then the government may have screwed up. I also heard about wild horses being relocated off federal lands and paying owners of large ranches to take them? That seems crazy to disrupt the natural order of things....Of course Occasional Cortex in the house of reps is a disruption all by herself.
  7. Felt the same way about our above ground pool...
  8. 7 yards at 8 point buck with the bow.... 250 yards at woodchuck with 7mm.
  9. One of these days, I am going to get this place out.
  10. Had same problem. Got those painful shots in the heels that really helped. Will need arch support going forward.
  11. Spending time on my back deck having coffee...all's well here...
  12. Wonder if liquid stevia mixed with water and sprayed on like insect repellent, would ward off the little Buggers.
  13. You may want to look into purchasing "Rynoskin" to wear for decent protection from ticks. Pricey, but worth it. I was bitten last year from lyme tick. Anti-biotics took care of the situation, but I thought I'd better get the Rynoskin. I wear the garment whenever I go out to camp.
  14. Just hunting with her eyes closed...I do that all the time...except in tree stand.
  15. Need an Adirondack chair and coffee and just kick back and enjoy that view from right there...if Tom Turkey walks by....even better..
  16. Thought it was a golf ball with interesting dimple pattern.
  17. I think I was about 8 or 9 when I was first being taught to shoot by my father and uncle on the farm. Loved it when I was able to hunt chucks back then after milking chores...still do like to pick off chucks.
  18. Ryno prevents the little bistards from attaching to our skin. Given the tight fit, my guess is they would have a difficult time crawling under the stuff. I feel totally protected...OK, I guess I could also buy the head cover Rynoskin...sorta cheeped out at the last minute.
  19. How do these government officials come up with this stuff. More worried about horses than the unborn.
  20. I can make use of my old 1973 Hogan Apex irons now...Have to spray the shafts dark...
  21. The future Mrs. should have scheduled the event for 11 AM...Dang . What's a "Crate and Barrel"? Sounds rustic......Just enjoy the day.
  22. He'd probably remember you. Have not seen him in awhile. I know he was battling cancer. We would chat about his turkey trapping that started in the '60's. Nice man.
