$30 million OnCore Golf and Sport complex coming to Buffalo in 2021
Merlot replied to goosifer's topic in General Chit Chat
Whatever happened with the Nicklaus re-design of the golf course in Delaware park and tied in with the Olmsted park, or are they one in the same? -
Hoping for cool weather and a leaf drop, unlike last year. If a buck wanders my way, so much the better.

Too busy invading area 51 today to get concerned about bow season...where are dem aliens???
-
I hope you're correct on the development around 3rd year....it's not getting rid of the ball passing within 2 seconds of the snap that concerns me. O -line may look better if Allen dishes the ball more quickly. Hopefully that will come with time and experience.
-
Even though 2-0, they beat a couple poor teams. I see them finishing 7-9 this year. They are not quite as good as some people think, and Allen is no savior....gonna get killed running.

2 concussions x 11 years old = no more football. Just my 2 cents. Your son's health is way more important than a football scholarship. Switch to another sport.

You need to say a few prayers, then "lobbith thy holy hand grenade" into the skunk hole....Just had to throw in the Monty Python and the holy grail reference inti the mix...

Going to need new Hunting camo...it's a good thing!
-
appears to be several keepers in the bunch. Good luck.

Be 66 in Dec. Mom into her 94th year. I guess I have time to hunt and to get my 2nd hole-in-one.

Slash his tires...( just Kiddin')

Left handed everything for me. Have never driven on the left side of road...yet.

Prefer hunting with the guys, but the guys have pretty much left the area, so I have gone out alone. I do restrict myself to ground hunting when alone, and do not stray too far from camp, in case I actually harvest a deer, so as to shorten the drag. I don't want the little lady at home to worry too much. I think of my hunting buddies and the good times we had, while sipping a merlot after a day in the field. Times have changed.

Hunting Leases - Southern Tier
Merlot replied to Pete Collin's topic in Land For Sale, Lease, and Requests
May as well go out west to hunt 2-3 times on that $7K. -
Lefty Gomez and Stottlemyre can fill in as pitchers..

Maybe a taser would be an adequate defense against dog attacks. At least no bullets flying around. Sorry about the bite. Years ago I had a little itty bitty chewawa dog bite me in the ankle...little bastard..

Good looking device...Gonna give the "Groundhog Max" people a run for their money.... -
Beautiful smasher buck...the other 2 aren't too shabby either....Congratulations. Nice mounts all.

Judging by the picture on the top...I'd go for the design on the right....lol

The aerial photos of property our Club members own in Wyoming Co., plus vast amounts of land surrounding us, post WW II was largely open field with some pockets of trees and brush. My understanding was the land was Ag land, to the extent that it was developed back then. Old timers remember hunting grouse quite successfully for years, then trees slowly took over and now the land is largely trees, with little habitat for grouse and poor habitat for deer and turkey. We have harvested mature trees in the recent past for the cash, but also to keep some balance with the tree growth, but not enough for favorable habitat, allowing grouse and deer to stick around. Sorry to hear about NJ grouse situation. I like trees, but a proper thinning can help. Agenda driven people will probably never allow tree harvests to help out wildlife.

I guess Muskoil isn't produced anymore? That stuff was the best of all time. Maybe too good...now we're stuck with lesser quality repellents. Curious to know if Muskoil can ward off Lyme ticks.

I like the rynoskin so far for keeping the ticks and skeeters away. Never tried those wipes yet.
