Let me know how you make out on the Mettawee, I live by there yet have never fished it due to the lack of knowledge about the river. I have tried the Battenkill numerous times with no luck and also the black creek with no luck. I am gonna try Dead pond tomorrow in between my business meetings on my way to MA and also the Hoosic by the NY/VT line.

When I read the title, I thought you were talking about Argyle,NY and I was like uhh why is there Alewife in Argyle? (I live in this town) But after watching the video it is a pretty cool accomplishment right there. Congrats and thank you for spot lighting the environmental achievement!

Upstate, because it is where I live and mostly hunt. Nomad, Because when hunting with my club, I say I am going to one spot, but I always end up moving to a new spot.If it wasn't for the Rino GPS, No one would ever know where I was. 90- My birth year.

I went out today to put my better memory card in the camera and found this guy came to my spot an hour and a half after I moved locations. Little thing but looks like a small buck to me, but I could be mistaken. I also fixed the date so they won't be from the future ha

You will need to get a SD memory card that slides into the side, most computers have a spot to put the card in to take the photos off. Unless you are the lucky type who pays for a data service to send the photos to your laptop.

Moultrie A5 is the camera and I can attach a picture that was taken at night but I don't see what triggered the device. Overall I think the camera is pretty nice for what it is.

I was surprised myself that it reached out that far. So far it was a good $55 investment to replace my one that broke.

Just a couple pictures to start the 2014 season since fishing is a little rough right now

Sharp photos, they look awesome.

I drove up to my camp this weekend too, but when I got to where our gate is to make it a private road I found a huge snow bank from the neighbor. He was plowing his snow there for the whole season so I wont be getting in till May it looks.

Haha I didn't have much in my pockets to make a comparison Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Me too, After the snow melts a little more I will be searching the woods for some sheds to see what I can find.

I have never shot a compound bow, it wasn't my cup of tea. I have always had a recurve from the first day I started shooting. I shoot naturally, off the shelf. I started with a 28 pound PSE and my 2nd and 3rd bow are both older than me. I have a 1967.5 Bear Super Kodiak this a Cadillac of all bows and a 1973 Browning wasp that I wanted for a stand but is just too short of a draw for me. I will never upgrade to a modern bow because I like the idea of a primitive weapon. My Super K has a beaver tail leather handle and Rattlesnake limb covers. She is a true gem to me.

Thought this was a pretty nice track I found when setting up my camera. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Albany rally 4/1

I saw this headline as I logged on yahoo this morning: http://news.yahoo.com/trump-rallies-against-cuomo-york-gun-control-204648334.html -
My college geology teacher said if there was every any major sign to just flee the country because it is going to be bad when it does happen. He always said it is easier to deal with ash as it floats in the air across the oceans than it will be to start over in the US. My only question is since yesterday was April fools day, any chance this maybe a hoax? I haven't seen many major names covering anything about this yet and everything else I see is very brief.

Last week at the range I had a trooper show up out of no where and he was "just seeing" what we were up to. I saw his car pulling in so I dumped all my mags from 10 rounds in them before he got to me. At that point someone asked if we can have more than 7 he said load 10, there is too much confusion and we wont be harassing people over how many rounds they have up to 10. Then he looked over my Saiga to see if it was an evil weapon, then walked away. Never even asked to see my permit for my pistol as my X.D-40 was sitting right next to me.

He is a big one!

AR-15 giveaway in NY?
UpstateNomad90 replied to Sogaard's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
The gunshop is one of my local favorites they posted this the other day and it really made sure they are out there to support our second amendment: Well, Grace Baptist was supposed to give away a NYS-compliant M&P15 to a law abiding person this weekend. But due to some criticism, false reporting in the press, threats and a handful of complaints they've decided to not go through with the give away as planned. ...now they're giving away two. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Oakwood-Trading-Post/156867057673916 -
Lol thank god she didn't post her cell number, she would go over on minutes.

Well since most of us got a good amount of snow, people are still looking for someone to plow their driveways on a local online "garage sale" group on FB. I was browsing the listings when I crossed the following post, With that being said anyone local who will want to help her out?
