That Bills defense can hang with anybody in the league. 1 busted coverage from holding them to under 20, with 40 minutes of possession time, and Ravens had damn good field position too
-
If your boys wanted to put Brady out of action, Biz, well nobody in WNY would complain much. Just sayin'.

Mini Chestnut Orchard's
UpStateRedNeck replied to Zag's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
Very, very interesting! I would definitely be interested in planting a 2 to 3 acre Grove myself. Edit:. I rescind my earlier suspicious warnings after doing some reading! -

Post what you find, I'm interested in something like this too! Got a 3 acre field I want to turn into deer habitat. Edit : Sent them an email, I'll post what I get back. -
Same here, cardio 4 days moderate lifting 1 day. Carrying around all that extra bulk isn't doing much for me in my old age.

Good God look how swoled up he is too.

Looks like Chuck's taking old One Eye to the optometrist. Or taxidermist. Whichever

Prefer an athletic fit? The KUIU stuff runs a bit small. Especially if you used to power lift.

Can't play in my golf league since the kids were born. Haven't swung a club since 2017, just too damn time consuming. I can't stand being halfway into something, golf in particular I need to be either improving or just leave it alone. Besides when the weather is nicer I want to work on plotting and improving the farm. Between December and April I'll catch up on my reading and video games backlog.

For what it's worth I'll probably get a pair of incinerator bibs someday. Like I wrote up in that thread, opening day I got COLD after 4 hours. I plan on getting that wind/rain layer to go over the ultra down, next year. Pretty damn hefty buy in price to get a complete layering system.

I enjoyed watching the game out here in WNY with some fellow rednecks. I like the cheesy Josh Allen commercials. Also wife's cousin was hunting out back and his buddy shot at a doe (missed), but at least I got to come and do a blood check. Some real headgear running around out here in Chataqua county! I kind of winced when they both said they were shooting 6.5 after what WNY said lately....

Man. When even Aikman says the pats have paid the refs off, on national TV, something is up.

My 300 Win Mag is ready
UpStateRedNeck replied to WNYBuckHunter's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
Puts a warm happy in your belly doesn't it? 300 win mag is in my future, I was thinking Bergara but seeing that Browning group makes me stroke my non-existent mustache..... -
Threw the backstraps from Tuesdays doe on the grill, along with a steak for my wife and mother. Oldest daughter, Dad and myself obliterated both straps. Damn good.

Sitting tires me out more than walking to be honest. Sitting still in cold weather really takes it out of you. Killed my first good buck ever on a walk and stalk. I was 19, it was Thanksgiving morning. I clipped him across the gut and the femoral artery, and immediately started chasing him! Chased him all the way from the south end of the property to the north, down the side of the hill. He eventually ran out of blood and died in heap in some nasty brush. Even at that age, dragging him up 2 ledges to the access road was no damn fun! All worth it though. Still enjoy a good walk and stalk during gun, if opening day doesn't pan out. I'm very fortunate in that I have terrain that it pays to do both in.

Had to take a big old doe out like that once. Logging trails we're too icy for the quad. Up 600 feet in elevation in about 1/4 mile. It winded me pretty quick. That might be the year I started jogging and hitting the elliptical 5x a week, come to think of it...... I was in pretty shit shape after my first daughter was born.

There's alot of land in the helderbergs like that. I'd say of the property that borders ours, roughly 10% is posted. Old posted signs fall off, owners get older and don't want to risk breaking their legs walking up and down hills. There's enough resources in this day and age to know Exactly where property lines are and where you are allowed to hunt. Access is the biggest problem for hunting. When you trespass, especially with a damn rifle, you're putting other people at risk, and making the rest of us look like crap. If you don't pay the property taxes on it or have written permission to hunt it, stay the eff off it.
