turkeyfeathers replied to turkeyfeathers's topic in General Chit Chat
That indeed is up there. Sharknado 4 is coming up on TV. The others were so cheesy they're actually good -
Downtown Buffalo-inner harbor and outer harbor

Links style golf course would be awesome there !!! -
Erik Estrada ( aka Ponch from CHIPS) fighting chupacabra at the Alamo. Watched 2 minutes and was fully what I expected. Terrible !! This maybe worse than The human centipede which sadly I watched in its entirety

My thumbs are sore from twiddling them so long awaiting pics ????

I love doing that. As quiet as can be and all of a sudden. Oops , I trip over a log and a verbal four letter word gets spoken aloud as I'm trying to be as stealthy as possible.

Ya. I've sat in coon crap before. You pick the biggest tree blindly in the dark and I guarantee you'll find it. Years back my buddy came home from Seattle We used to hang out a lot when he was in town. Well next day I'm hunting spring birds but I can't say no to meeting him out for barley pops as its been awhile. With about an hour of sleep and running late I get into the woods about a half hour later than I want. Bird gobbles on roost and close. I quickly sit down. Right in a leek patch. I managed not to heave at the stank of them things and hungover. Didn't kill a bird that day but did get an early out of woods and a nap at home.

Beer can chicken minus the beer can. Briined in water / kosher salt and brown sugar Little mayo on outside , butter pats under skin and dry rub on outside. Smelling good

Thanks guys. I'll look into it and call Ruger. It's of late 70's.

Oh boy I have some work to do over the summer. Little high right but in my defense the previous owner said I would as he shoots odd he said. I'll play around next time out. These are last 18 of 50 I ran thru her today. Lasered 34 yards. At least I could hit the broad side of a barn ???? Far less bite n bark than I expected but own a .45 and this is pretty tame. All my fillings in my teeth are still solid but the percussion did keep the skeeters away ???? Loving my first wheel gun. Everything from pushing the ejection rod to dump empties , stuffing freshies in there, the way it holds in my hands. I may have to pick up another revolver .... or 2 ????

Much Needed Moisture.
turkeyfeathers replied to landtracdeerhunter's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
Been dry , real dry. Thinking it hasn't rained since first week of May if I remember correctly. Some light showers overnight and again this morning. House shaking from thunder right now. Unlike our last golden retriever this one could care less at the noise. Finally a day I don't have to water the garden -
It sorta hurts now. Just cleaned out the trunk. Spare calls , shells , vest , dekes , extra camo , back pack , blind etc. All in the basement. Saddening

4 I believe Thanks for the tip Ok, looked at Home Depot on web. So I rip out old stairs. Nail in stringers ,cut 2 x 4's to size and start mounting them to stringer ? Do I need something to prevent from settling under ground end of stringer ? heck, I might be able to handle that. The stringer part looks very helpful for sure. That might be a 3 beer project.
-
Is that a coopers or sharpie ? I can never tell the difference. And again Wooly, you find and see the neatest stuff ever and always catch it on camera !!
-
If I buy the beer can I come over and watch the entertainment ? I notice my deck stairs are more or less rotting away and settling . I have no idea how to fix or rebuild as I'm far from handy so I'm going to have to hire someone to do that job.

That's awesome !!

turkeyfeathers replied to MACHINIST's topic in General Chit Chat
Might this be a farmer who you have permission to hunt his property ? Good on you either way. What are they stealing? Does he know where they are parking vehicle? Get a cam set up to catch plate # too
