  1. http://trufuel50.com I swear by this stuff! Everything I own that is occasional use is put away with true fuel in it after I drain/run out gas. The stuff that is very occasional use "pole chain saw, ice auger, portable winch etc" I only use the true fuel in. I have yet to have a problem with anything. Even modern ethanol free gas is garbage compared to gas 15 years ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Interesting discussion at work today that I figured I would bring up to you guys. What do you guys consider acceptable accuracy for hunting? It varied among my coworkers anywhere from 1" groups to in the "pie plate" Me personally I don't care about a group my max range is 10 shots at 10 different times within what I consider my kill zone "within a couple inches of where I'm aiming." For me that is 65yds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. Bingo! Get the landowners involved and it becomes 150 acres of I huntable land that we all like to bitch about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I guess we will agree to disagree, I see this as 2 grown men who both have permission. The op has to deal with the other guy whom also has permission. The only way to avoid this is to buy your own land or pay for a lease, this is all part of hunting if you don't have land to call your own. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. You literally described 2 guys not working things out. This has nothing to do with the landowner and everything to do with the 2 guys. The landowner has no problems. It's 2 guys "adults" with problems. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. If adults can't act like adults I don't want them near my property. I don't want to be a mediator, after all I'm doing them a favor. This is the exact reason why I don't let anyone hunt my properties! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. As a landowner I can say that I would highly recommend you not bringing this up to the landowners. If two adults have an issue and bring it up to me as the landowner I'm going to tell the whinny one to drag their ass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Welcome to farming! And think you're only doing it part time! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Haha, they walked right around them tonight! Thanks again for he advice. Even if you hate on my beer choice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I've heard a few other girls say that as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I wear slip on mechanics gloves that I get for free. Never had a problem hunting with them. I would never in a million years wear gloves with Velcro bow hunting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Does it get any better than a cold tall boy a tree stand and some deer? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Of the 30+ deer I have shot with my bow I have stopped 1 he was on a dead run chasing a doe and I had nothing to lose. I yelled as loud as I could after I drew and the second he skidded to a stop he an arrow though him. Other than a nothing to lose situation I will never stop a deer. I avoid shooting at alerted deer at all cost, why the hell would I alert them? If theyre walking at normal eastern archery range a proper lead is very small. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. You bring up a great point with single shots, Im a bit of a single shot nut and probably own around 15 single shot centerfires. The problem with single shots when looking for a short gun is that usually when you're looking for a short gun it's because you're still hunting/tracking. Those are the times when a quick follow up is often needed most. On the rare occasion when I'm stand hunting around e house more than likely I have a single shot in my hands and most likely it is 35cal or larger. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I own land in 5T and as a landowner and a disabled vet I still have 0 chance of getting a dmp. You can drive around the block and see 50 deer and 45 are does but zero dmp's. Having spoke to a buck of neighbors they are all getting permits for the neiboring wmu and using that tag. It's sad the second is making outlaws out of honest people but it is beyond ridiculous! 19. Try the Barnes, you won't be disappointed! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. As much time and work as we put in to try and kill a couple bucks what if your pee made a buck you are after turn and head the other way? It's a ram many are willing to take and is also easily avoidable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I think you have grounds for a lawsuit with those 2 pics, clearly it's false advertising when a cam is called a "stealth cam" when that buck clearly knows something is happening. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I use my spitter if I have to pee. When my brother first started hunting I had him convinced to just pee in the bottle he is spitting his chew in. I let er go, never had it bother a deer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. When I was stationed down south I shot a bunch of them from North Carolina to Florida. They are fun to hunt. If you want to eat them shoot a small one! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. It's no secret but I'll take short and light every time, the odd ball is a Remington model six low serial number low production that I haven't had the codds to make normal yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
