Really? Never had to wait a week to get a covid test. Maybe it isn't like that downstate but up here getting a covid test is damn near impossible.

I agree with that, BUT if Trump was president, we wouldn't see all these mandates, people would be working, there wouldn't be a supply chain crisis and there would be testing available while you are actually sick instead of having to wait until you feel better when your able to finally get in. The answer wouldn't be Google it....

@Chef How come i haven't heard a single complaint from you about the way Biden has handled this Virus? Handed all the tools and here we are with record cases, no testing available etc. You sure were willing to pick on Trump for his handling of the virus. Which, while not perfect, was about 1000 times better than what we are seeing now.

Not to derail this topic. When i was a kid, probably around 12 years old i was playing basketball with my Dad. I don't remember why but he but bet me 20 bucks that he could make this impossible shot. I said sure and he proceeded to make it. This was a distance that he had to throw the ball overhand with one hand just to reach the basket. I couldn't believe he made it and i was really upset that i lost 20 bucks. Thankfully he gave me an out and offered me double or nothing. Problem was, he sunk it again. I was 12 years old in the year 1985 and owed my Dad 40 Bucks. He made me pay it. That was more than half the money i had saved for a new bike. It was also probably the best life lesson i was ever taught. There is no such thing as a sure bet. BTW, i would take that bet again.....No way he would make it!

That pipe dream is reality in a lot of States....just not here...

The bottom line is, we need to get back to normal life. If the vaccine and boosters are the best choice for you, go and get them. If wearing a mask makes you feel more comfortable, then by all means, wear one. But these mandates are ridiculous and i have been over them since the two weeks to stop the spread almost 2 years ago... Let people work, let people travel, let people go shopping etc.... And lets get to the bottom of the story with what happened with this virus so we can make sure it never happens again. Funny how we don't hear a word about that anymore....

None of this takes into account the fact that most of the people that are unvaccinated are the people that decided they aren't going to live in fear of a virus and have gone about their daily lives (as much as aloud) since this all started like i have and there are others still living in fear and driving in a car by themselves with a mask on that i would be willing to bet are vaxed and boosted...

Nope, I'm well aware of the information. I have a 98.4 % chance of surviving the virus without the shot. (probably higher now that I had covid and it wasn't a big deal) or a 99% chance of surviving covid with 2 shots and a booster. What other info do i need?

Seriously! If a business wants to mandate that their employees be vaccinated, IMO they have every right to do that. Employees have every right to comply or get another job. The government Mandating that employers mandate their employees be vaccinated is a completely different story and in no way free market. Surely as brilliant as you think you are, you can see that!

I'm not really a gambler. I'll play quick draw or something for fun if I'm at the bar but know i am throwing that money away.
