    I ordered 150 hybrid poplars to screen off my neighbor who just built (during the season!) an elevated blind, right on the property line.

    I hunt alone about 98% of the time. The closest family that hunts with me are 6 hours away, so they are usually here for about 4 days of the season. I enjoy it when they're here.

    He does it himself, so I guess that saves a lot of time. My buddy has used him a lot, so I had the chance to check out his work beforehand.

    I got my mount back today....talk about fast service! This taxidermist puts you to the head of the line if you pay him everything up front. I shot this buck on November 2nd. Here's a before picture of him in my beans this summer, and another of him now.

    Good one! Reminds me of a bear story..... A guy moved up to Alaska and decided he wanted to carry a sidearm to protect himself from bears. He went to the gun shop and bought a 357 and a holster. The gun shop owner suggested he file down the front sight on the gun, so the guy asked him the reason. Is it so I can get the gun out of the holster faster? No said the shop owner, it's so it doesn't hurt as much when the bear shoves it up your a@&. ???
