Lots of folks don't speak 'bureaucratese'. Better that they should ask here for a general interpretation than not.
-
Really? Your wife doesn't like that you hunt so much?

Crock pot ;-] -
It was very cool, until the clouds rolled in. I got the first half.

Hasn't bothered the tree frogs, but the crickets shut up. The coyotes and neighborhood dogs went crazy at first, but they've all shut up too. We'll have a bright full moon back in about an hour. How weird is that? Perfect view from just outside my door, so pics to follow. :-]

Statuesque, like a washing machine, was she?

Wishing clear skies for everyone, turkeyfeathers. Best of luck.

Looks like the skies will be clear and the temps comfortable tonight. You won't get another chance to see an event like this until 2033, so don't miss out on this one! No telescopes or binoculars required, either. Just step out and look up. https://www.nasa.gov/feature/goddard/nasa-scientist-sheds-light-on-rare-sept-27-supermoon-eclipse A shadow will start at a little after 8:00, and the moon will gradually turn dark reddish-orange for the duration of the event with the full eclipse occuring shortly after 10:00 and running until about 10:45. Edit: Got the time wrong. The shadow starts at a little after 9:00.

Liberal Socialism is what 'smart' looks like to stupid people.

What have you done this year to prepare for the 2015 season?

The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up. -

I completely missed the first turn and stepped on the corn stalk. Am I disqualified?

The smell of mango gets 'em going every time. ;-}
-
I've pondered that one myself. ;-]

The only thing that's unethical is not being able to find the game you've shot. Shooting is just the first step. An accurate weapon and a well-placed shot is a good thing. We all strive for that.

Stout heart, my friend. It's just a test.

You're a good guy wooly, no matter what people say about ewe.
-
Not really what you're asking about, but the gun I use when I'm crawling on my hands and knees through thorn-apples or brier patches is a 44 mag TC Contender. For the quick point-n-shoot situations it's a 12 ga model 37 Ithaca with a 20" barrel. I've had it for 40 years and it snaps into position like a dream. Not a fun gun to practice with though.

I spent a lot of time hunting around Walworth during the original Gananda development. There were some spectacular deer there. Glad you still have a spot to hunt them, Eddie. Best of luck to you.
-
More often than not it's the shooter that sets the limits, rather than the gun. A tack-driving gun won't compensate for poor marksmanship. Practice, practice, practice.
-
Time in your tree stand is better spent being very quiet and learning about the animals. Target practice can be done elsewhere. JMHO

...and for the NYC transplants to western NY: "...my one and only, ewes..."
-
" Ewe, light up my life..." I worked for many years as a wedding musician, I can go forever with this.
-
These two were recently found during an electrical renovation job somewhere in the southern US.

"I only have eyes, for ewe..."???
