Looks like it could be a sulphur shelf (chicken of the woods) but it's too far gone and has lost it's bright orange color. Sent from my LGL16C using Tapatalk

8N heading in for a 2 hour sit, then all day tomorrow. Let the ruckus begin! Sent from my LGL16C using Tapatalk -
I'm about half way up the lake and also had decent action on Saturday. Sign is abundant. This weekend should be great! Good luck Sent from my LGL16C using Tapatalk

If you know where the doe are, hunt there! Truthfully, the bucks are about to become very unpredictable as they seek & chase the doe. Hang in there and be ready! Sent from my LGL34C using Tapatalk

Sounds like a fox or maybe a raccoon. Once a Fox is onto your set he'll get harder to catch. You may need to make double sets to catch it. If he trips it again, leave it and make a good set back about 15 inches. Both reds and grays will work the same sets, but grays prefer thick brushy areas and reds like open grassy fieldsSent from my LGL34C using Tapatalk

No real science to it. What I did was just mix the two ingredients until desired consistency. Then I spread it on and used 2"x4" strips of tissue paper to hold it all on. When I could tell the paste was drying out I just squirted it with more peroxide. Sent from my LGL34C using Tapatalk -

Peroxide and borax laundry detergent makes a nice paste for whitening if you decide to try it, cheap too. Congrats! Sent from my LGL34C using Tapatalk -

Gearing up for my first real hunt since moving to 8N last month. Time to give my brand new bow a reputation! Happy huntin' folks and may your arrows fly true. Sent from my LGL34C using Tapatalk -

Yep, if you leave the mycelium(root) then it might grow in that same spot next year. I also want to advise you not to consume alcohol while eating Maitake (hen of the woods). Sent from my LGL34C using Tapatalk

That's one sad looking hen! Here's one of four that I found this week

Most likely a coyote. I believe the heaviest one on record was taken in here in NY Sent from my LGL34C using Tapatalk

Not trying to sway your decision of shooting a lighter poundage, but shooting dozens of arrows isn't realistic in a hunting scenario. Your first shot is all that counts. Also, shooting a lot in one round can cause arm fatigue and may lead to bad shooting form. Just a little food for thought. Sent from my LGL34C using Tapatalk

Wildgame Innovations has some terrible customer service

I had a very good experience with WGI when I had a cam out during hurricane Sandy and it got fried. I called and they gave me a replacement order number which I wrote on the outside of the return box. No questions asked. Simple as that. Sent from my LGL34C using Tapatalk -
Chants were earlier in the summer. Hens are now. Sent from my LGL34C using Tapatalk

Could just be a young/dumb coon. Your SIL also needs to invest in a squeegie!

Black Bellamy, you forget that you're talking to a crowd who willingly takes to the field/forest knowing that there's strangers walking around shooting guns! I too go raw dog unless I'm skinning fox or yotes. I can also field dress a deer in under 30 seconds. Sent from my LGL34C using Tapatalk

The problem is this; a decrease in their population will only cause them to have larger litters, it's a fact. Yes you can lower their numbers in a certain area, but they merely shying away from hunting pressure Sent from my LGL34C using Tapatalk

There is no pan tension requirement and just to clarify on what Phade wrote; snares can only be used by ADC/NWCO(animal damage controllers / nuisance wildlife control operators) the general public may not use snares/cable restraints in NY.
