Sorry to hear that Wildcats hope you make it out at some point this weekend!!!! I'm ready to go going to be bow hunting Friday evening and then gun hunting the weekend!!! Maybe if anyone around me is throwing a few rounds through there gone on Friday they will send something my way!!!!

An empty stomach will get me out of my tree faster then not seeing any deer!!!! I don't like overdueing it though because then I will have to go back for a while ??? ??? !!

With my muzzleloader I have one loaded and 3 with easy loaders. But I cant find my easyloaders > . With a shotgun usually 5 in the gun and and another pack of 5!!!

Thats pretty sweet!!! I've never found a shed before but I have never looked either. You would think between just walking around hunting deer or turkey or when scouting and such one would accidently come across one. They are hard to find though!!!

Yea i've been checking this know and then during bow season. Its tough to tell how accurate it is since he is doing the whole country and not just one area. Its interesting to check out though either way!!!

I envy you for having your tags ful lol!!!! I haven't filled one yet in bow in the SZ. I will be out Friday evening for one last shot and then all weekend with my muzzleloader!!! I am probably more ready for gun season this year then ever before. Because of hunting land closer to where I go to school this will actually be my first ever opening morning!!!! So you think that once things calm down and people arn't pushing the deer will come around during daylight hours still assuming that weather conditions would be suiting daytime movement?

If your seeing more deer there I would hunt there!!!!

Meat is meat to me I shoot what ever comes by. I would rather shoot a buck but don't hesitate on does!!!

OK well all the people around me push deer on opening day!!! For opening day I'm going to sit in my stand like it was a normal hunt and hope something comes by or gets pushed to me. The pushers may actually end up helping me out. What about for the future of the season though? Most of them either sit for the rest of the season or just don't go out at all. They might push again around Thanksgiving maybe. After things quiet down though the deer should go back to normal activity. However will it be more nocturnal or will there still be day time activity if there is weather and such things that promote more daytime activity?

Well I never have killed 5 deer in a year but I'm saying I would if I could. Thats alot of deer to kill!!! What you said kind of proved my point. You buy the tags that you want for the amount of deer you and anyone you share with need. I never said you didn't have the intentions of filling your buck tag either. You said that people don't need to feel obliged to fill every tag because "its what we pay for". I'm saying if I buy a tag I want to fill it if I can. Why would I or anyone else buy 5 tags and then give up on the rest of the hunting season after 2 or 3 deer? Again if thats all I wanted thats all I would buy. There is no need to buy tags for deer I don't want to shoot when someone else who might want them can't because I bought them and don't want to use them.

He would be a shooter for me!!! He does look young though and will probably be a tank if he goes another year or two. Good Luck if you decide to take him and if you let him go I hope you get a crack at him in the future!!!

I dont want to sound like a jerk but why would someone buy a tag that they didn't atleast hope to fill? I got my mL and bow tags my regular season buck and my two dmp's. I don't want to sound greedy either but I would fill all 5 if the oppurtunity presented itself. None of the meat would go to waste and would easilly be gone (atleast for my family) befoe the next deer season. Anyways what I'm trying to say is if I only wanted two deer or three deer I wouldn't buy every tag that I could.

I was reading the topic below on bore butter. Seems like a lot of people are against it. I was told it was good stuff. What is wrong with it and why don't you guys use it?
