If you have a mathews, check out white rhino bow grip. It's a heated grip. I've tried them out and they are awesome. I know the owners of the company personally though business and they are some really awesome geniuses.

there is a person here that sells it. Their name is something like whitetail renegade I think, I saw a post in the letchworth park thread. I would contact them about getting some product. Probably the most fresh scent you can get.

Well we got it all broken down and trimmed up. It was my buddy's deer he got in a ground blind we made on a small piece of state land here in cuse. During my break between my two classes today, I went over to his place and we both got it done in no time and in freezer bags. Thanks for the input everyone. Better safe than sorry!

I'll keep the south shore in mind next time I have an urge to grab my pole and try to get a stripper by the beach... Gotta wrap it before ya cast it though, never know how many people have fished that bay before.

Thanks, you too.

I use the Quaker boy growler or brawler. It's is a great sounding call.

When I see the check point, I just crawl back under the tonneau cover and reenact the scene from the hang over.

Nice, I need to have that problem of picking and choosing 8pts to shoot at

oh the Hancock bucks... My army unit is in the marines base there on e Malloy rd. one of these days I'll find the right person to get permission to hunt some of that land.

To be honest, I can't tell you these answers. You need to go out that and find out. Personally I would think your stuff would be fine left out there but who knows now a days. But there are big deer there it just takes time. Plenty of deer roaming those hills. You just need to go and put time in the woods and you'll find if you like it or not. Personally I wouldn't bow hunt any larger area like that without any scouting done. I'd wait till I can use my rifle.

I just asked because my buddy got a buck this morning. I had lots of school work so I stayed in, he got a small buck at 7:45 in the ground blind we built on a small piece of state land near syracuse. We are cutting it up in the morning when we have a couple hours.

I got two bags of ice in the chest too

Today the temp is around 40-50. How long you figure it's okay to hang a deer?

That area in general has great hunting. Tons of state land around to spread the hunters thin. I have a hunting camp with roughly 450 acres on one end of Morgan hill state forest and we only see a notable amount of hunters during opening gun weekend. Besides that weekend, especially during bow, there is very limited pressure.

At this point in my life, I have no desire to use my bow more than I have to. I prefer to gun hunt 10x's more than archery.
-
you can use the bow in all seasons

If you already have the doe in the area I'd shy away from anything that makes the presence of a new doe, ie. estrous scents or doe urine. I'd use a buck scent if anything but stick to vocal calls like a grunt or bleat here and there. That's just me though.

Sounds like a great hunt. Anything taken from the ground that close is always a trophy. Makes me want to get out there and hunt. Too bad for school though

Oh good lord, I needed that laugh

Halloween party round 4 tonight. Looks like I'll have to do the zombie crawl to my tree stand in the morning. -
With all the out of state trips you do I might as well call you Jim shockey

My friend is going to school for meteorology and he just uses accu weather. He doesn't use the app, just googles it online in safari. I do know they have the app too though.
