I do, shoot well for me after the Muzzy trocars did not.

I shot Montecs and they grouped much better. Still didn’t shoot the same as fp it I’ll take it and make the adjustment

Yeah I don't really want to buy anymore BH's either. I am also pretty frustrated after being super confident out to 50 with the new Xbow. let me know what you go with and how it goes. I may try the slick tricks next

I am literally having the same issue Zeus. Field Tips perfect 20 to 50. Put BH on last night and having issues with them grouping. They shoot at least 2" low at 20 and i have fliers to the Left or Right!! I too am shooting the Muzzy Trocar 100gr. I'm hoping to shoot more tonight and see if i can figure it out. Sorry to hijack but i thought it ok to chime in considering we are shooting the same BH and having same issue.

I am much like many who have responded. I usually set goals/standards prior to the year, however if it feels right in the moment, then i am happy with whatever i choose to harvest.

I'm all for new public ground to hunt, especially in this area where many of us live. I do find it absurd the City touts this as a victory however. You would think there would be a little shame in losing almost 4.4 million in a land deal.

I shot a little buck a few years back muzzleloading that area. There is deer to be had with a little scouting.

X2 on Millers. Make sure to buy their Brine, top notch stuff on all types of meats.

My camp is very close to there. Lots of bears on the cams this year. My advice is to find cherries and cover ground.

Early Review Time - Finally had some time to shoot the Sniper last evening and this morning. Shot 9 times from 10 yards sighting in and getting comfortable being the first time i have ever shot a x-bow. I used the bolts which came in the package. Initially, it was shooting almost 8" low but dead center so I had it sighted relatively quickly before dark. I couldn't get out of bed early enough this morning and shot another 12 bolts from 20 yards. I used the pile drivers this time and after one sight adjustment, I was shooting decently. The pile drivers are significantly heavier than what came with the x-bow and are clearly superior quality as expected. Overall, i am very impressed with the x-bow, but i am not one to really ask as it's the one and only i have ever shot. But as a newb, it was very easy to assemble, mount scope on, and utilize. And as an aside, i went with the Muzzy 100gr. I will advise when I shoot them. I pulled the one on the right which was my 3rd shot of this set.

Flyfishing was my spring and early summer passion. That transferred into hunting season prep and the season itself. Once the guns were put away, it was on to the ice until March. Now, softball with my girls covers early spring through September. I still have my hunting season for the most part, and now that the kids are getting older, they come ice fishing with me.

Ok, so I assembled my first crossbow last evening with relative ease. I also decided on CE Pile Drivers for bolts. Now I'm torn between Muzzy Trocar 100gr or Montec G5's. Anyone have any experience with either out of a x-bow? Really very little complaints about either. Some have said the Montecs don't have the longer distance (30yds +) accuracy. Thanks all!

Due in part to the reviews of you folks, I am awaiting the arrival of mine in the mail. Now just have to figure out the bolts and broadheads i want to shoot.

I think this is a type of coral? Not a mushroom eater, but i like following this thread with all the cool finds!

I definitely like the thought of that WNY and DDT, i did buy BFO and rye to mix from the local feed store. Will have to look more into that next year. Thanks.
