One tequila, two tequila, three tequila....FLOOR! LOL
-
Scouted some ( new to me ) public land close by, bought a new bow, just washed the hunting clothes and getting ready for a good Sawyers treatment. The g/f goes for her Hunter Ed. class this weekend, so will be spending time getting the basics down with her. Getting antsy.

Bump.

Happy birthday eddie, have a great evening.

The ones we use for camping used to be in our 'cooking' tote, first thing loaded. Somehow during the move they were taken out. I located them and put 'em back where they belong now.
-
A lot of great food and way to much beer. Didn't take the fishing gear this trip. Just one of those get out in the country and do nothing trips.
-
Weekend was Bud, Labatts, Bud Light, and I had to have a couple good beers. Even joined my buddy and had a couple cigars over the weekend. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA from a mason jar.

Camping weekend. Saturday night chicken thighs, corn on the cob, pasta salad, and zucchini. Yesterday morning was eggs with no frying pan ( forgot the cast iron ), the g/f came up with this and it worked out. Last night, steak, corn on the cob, cheese peppers, baked potato in the coals, and not in pic was hot chili peppers grilled.

You edited to late,

Selkirk. Edit: $1 per arrow is not bad. I am not complaining, very acceptable price. I was just curious what the average might be.

Ah, what I refer to is the flatlands of NYS. Still didn't think there was that distance. Thanks for the info.
-
Is there actually anywhere in NYS in a hunting scenario where you can actually have a 1,000 yard shot? Any clubs with this much yardage to shoot and practice?

Just bustin' the nads Pedro. LOL I have had to chase skunks off a 5x8 back porch in Schenectady. Now that's taking a risk. I rapped on the window once, bugger sprayed the porch. After that, I would just whip the door open and scream like a banshee. I got lucky, they would run and not take a stand.
-
Were you scared? Rapping on the window like a girl.
-
They had those things all over. They were some form of netting if I recall. Might be for bugs. Still messed up. The link RangerClay posted was interesting. But, no tops.

Wouldn't it make sense for traps of any sort to be facing different directions? I'm calling hoax. Not saying it was done by the witnesses, so don't get all bent. Maybe this is the new age "crop circle"? If it was the DOH they would have been labeled I would think. EDIT: OH, just thought about something. When they try to catch bugs don't they use big nets? The ones they place on the ground ( those funnel type nets ) or from tree to tree and use a spray to temporarily stun the bugs?
-
Congrats and good luck with it.

No pic. Did an oops. Thought we had hot dogs, I was wrong. Found that out at 4pm. OK, float a thin steak will be good to go. Worked out. Steak on the grill, nuked baked potatoes, and broccoli in cheese sauce.

May as well lock this up. Bow was dropped at the post office this afternoon.
-
$1 per arrow because they have to use the same incerts.

Grow, are you trolling or are you serious? Not trying to bust, um, give you a hard time, but.... Hunting is either in you or it isn't. I have hunted, stopped, then hunted, and stopped, then hunted. I never "quit" hunting. It was on my mind everyday! If I shot a 54 point buck at 2 yards ( hypothetical ), I would still hunt. I will hunt until I am not psychically capable.

The 2nd Civil War Scenario.
DirtTime replied to Rattler's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
If there is a new age war, it will be like nothing we have ever seen before. If you don't know what that means, you aren't paying attention and I am not going to spell it out for you. -
Proper form can be dependent on past injuries, but it can be compensated for. I have a bad back, I have tingling in my lower back, both arms, and both legs every day. When it hurts, it frikin hurts! I had to adjust my hips and foot placement. I still shoot well, I just had to make the right body adjustments to get a good upper body form with shoulder and arm alignment to be comfortable. I would never use the $2.50 specials from box stores. But, my Carbon Express Wolverine Hunters have done well. I will be keeping them and having them cut down to fit the new DL.

Yeah, over night to you and then over night back to me.

Ah ha! Some one got it!
