  1. Just checked these out and they look really nice! And will hold up to snow! I really like that over the Amerastep Vanish blinds I have! Thanks!
  2. I have a doghouse blind too. Only drawback is you can't shoot a bow out of it. It's OK other than that. I haven't used it much as I picked up a couple of the chair blinds for solo gun hunts. I find them to be very comfortable, and easier to set up and take down.
  3. Yeah...that was pretty crazy too!
  4. Holy Moly! What are the odds of that? What a buck!
  5. Wow! I'm definitely in the wrong line of work!
  6. All the best to you my friend on life's journey. Our lives lead us down many paths. May the ones you walk, always lead you to happiness. Try calling a local van and storage, moving company to move your baby. They do that kinda stuff all the time. And are fully insured. Shouldn't be too expensive if you are only going a short distance.
  7. And let me add that you are the one of the most unselfish hunters I've ever met. You host many, many others each year, to hunt the bounty of your properties! I don't think the majority of people with deer hunting property like you have Brian, would be near as generous. Says alot about you as a hunter, and a friend.
  8. The one the Sawx didn't get, or could afford. And Better hope Mookie doesn't get $400M, because the Sawx won't be able to afford him either.
  9. And saw some nice bucks there this year too??
  10. It's late season now, and most of us are done hunting. This has become "our" community buck!!!! You have got to kill him, for all of "us" now!!!! Some great advice throughout this thread. Good luck! We are all riding with ya on this one!
  11. Try using a doe decoy within range of your stand.
  12. Welcome! Nice that you found us. We're glad to have ya! Just pull up a seat and join right in!
  13. Very close, and almost identical to the Nosler BT. Dinsdale sent me a bunch of the Winchester silver tips for reloading. I used them for practice, and they shot exactly where the BT's did.
  14. Where is he coming from? And where is he going to, when you see him out in the field? Those two points, would be my best choices to set up an ambush position for a buck that has been patterned. Wind direction considered of course.
  15. I'm the complete opposite! And find the plain white skulls boring. I try to find a camo pattern that has something to do with the hunt of that particular buck. Like snow camo for a deer taken in the snow. Or pines if it was killed there, or an oak pattern if killed there. I have had two euro's camo dipped, and my gun buck from this year will be too. (picking it up this weekend) The one from this year will be an oak brush camo. That is where he breathed his last breath, in some 'very' thick brush. And who remembers how cool wooly's skull carvings were! They were awesome! I just really like seeing the skull dressed up a bit. I have them done both ways. But an open pattern camo dip is my favorite.
  16. Being able to work from the gunnels, with no obstructions, will be so much easier!! And from all you have described in what you want in a new boat, this one fits the bill perfectly! Hope you work a sweet deal! Winter is a great time to buy a boat. Good luck my friend.
  17. Nice! Is livewell and storage all up front?
  18. Pretty cool video footage for sure. The divers seem to be showing great respect to that huge shark. One thing for sure is, I would not ever be in a video with something that could eat me like a piece of jerky!
  19. Are those this years bucks Brian? Both are real nice. But that drop tine buck is really cool! I've never killed one of those, but always wanted to.
  20. Very cool! And a broad head attachment too! Also priced right! And nice bucks!!!
  21. What a great buck! So cool to have a video of him too! Congrats again my friend.
  22. Congratulations on your first muzzle loader buck Chef!!!
  23. A long way from home?????........ Hopefully he got booted. Still say it was someone on here who made up a new name. Very similar phrasing and spelling.
