Just want to thank each and every one of you for the birthday wishes! You are all the reason, this is such a great place to visit. Got home from work, put some venison cutlets on the grill with a nice tossed salad. Enjoying a nice cold drink on the deck now! Perfect ending to the day.

Thanks everyone! Gotta work tomorrow on the bithday. So had family and some friends drop in today. I ate like a king, and laughed till I cried. The perfect day! I'm a very lucky man.

Final score........turkeys 3.....grampy 0. Wanted to get out this weekend, but did family stuff and my yard looks great! Heard lots of gobbling here at home, where I don't hunt. One gobble from the roost opening day, that's it, on my hunting property. Enjoyed every second I was out though. Now, got to get the boat ready for bass! And get things done for deer season! Congratulations to all the successful turkey hunters this year!

Good luck to the guy, he's really gonna need it. My suggestion is to start a pig roast, with lots of beer, at 8pm, the day BEFORE his curfew. That gives you 24 hours to talk some sense to him! Could never understand why a woman would want to make a wussy out of her man. Or why a man would let her do it.

As always.......amazing! Wish I had the talent you have in just one finger! I think a hiking staff, with native american etchings, and feathers, would be sooo cool! Having some native blood in me, makes me think of things like that.

Had a few bikes when I was younger. Mostly Harleys. My last bike was 30 years ago. Was coming out of Clarksville on 443 just past Van Wie's farm, on the flats. Was doing well over 100mph, when a herd of deer decided to cross the road right in front of me. I should have died that night, as I have no idea how I didn't hit one. I remember seeing them just in front of me and both sides. Got home, got off the bike, and never got on one again.

Love this Torres kid! Already breaking long time Yankees records. Some say he's the next Jeter, or Yankee great. I say, let the kid play for a few more years, and see where he shakes out. He does have all the tools to be a great one. We'll see. For sure, there is some outstanding young talent, playing now for the Sox and Yanks! As a lifetime fan of the game, this is as good as it gets folks! Right now throughout baseball, there are some exciting players to watch. Even at my local single A level, at Joe Bruno stadium, with the Valley Cats. These are the 'good ol' days', for baseball!

Wanted to go today, but too much on the plate. Grandsons baseball tournament, trying to get bass boat ready, and yard work will fill up this day. But "hoping" to get out one last time tomorrow. Congrats to all who were successful. Best of luck to all still trying.

Being a Deer Search member, I honestly never heard of a dog tracking turkeys. First, you need a little blood trail to get the dog started on the line. But I am in no way saying, the right dog could not help you! I admire your search efforts so far. Still hoping somehow you will find him my friend.

She makes alot of us proud too Jay. She's wise way beyond her years. It ain't always about the kill. Wish I had her mentality, when I was her age. Wishing you both the best of luck, for a great hunt, and sweet redemption!!!
