I saw 9 does in the field where I hunt just last week. Like clockwork they come out 30 minutes before dark.

i also love hearing people on 4 wheelers driving to their stand 5 minutes after first light.

most of the season last year, when I'd hunt mornings I'd get to my stand an hour or so before light and the neighbor would start up his walk behind leaf blower and start blowing off his lawn for hours. He must have used a flashlight because it is pitch black when he starts. It doesn't bother the deer but it's messes with my relaxation.

welcome to the area and to the site. You're going to have to look a bit, find some land and just start asking. Ask any friends, family or coworkers if they have any land you could hunt. I just got permission to hunt my friend's 30 acre property last night. I just mentioned that I was looking for some new spots and he said to come over saturday and he'll show me around. Good luck.

my lady wants to come with me to see what it's like. No way she would ever shoot something though but she loves nature and likes that I hunt.

last year I forgot to report my buck so I called up 10 days after I shot it and reported it and it was no problem. I wonder how late you can report your take. Surely, it's better to report it late than never.

that's what I thought. Cop didn't care though because that was all in the past and I can't prove they weren't going to pick them up after election. They did pick them up the day after the election this ONE time, so I suppose the cop told them. Either way it was funny.

3 years ago during some elections, there were campaign sign plastered all over my road. There were 3 across the street from my house, in the grass and on the edge of the road. After staring at them for months, i noticed they had all fallen over. Remembering that in past times the people who put these signs there never come back to pick up the signs after the election, I took all 3 (2 republican and 1 democratic) and put them in the garbage. 30 minutes later, a cop came knocking on my door and asked me to get the signs out of my trunk. I told him they were in the trash can and told him why I did what I did; because they looked like garbage. He said someone reported me and they are very mad and I can be charged with felony theft. He followed me to my trash cans and I took them out and put them back where they were. Serious business.

I made sausages last year and they turned out pretty bad. For one, I ground the meat too fine so it had no texture and then I overcooked it. I will use the remaining venison I have to make brats in honor of oktoberfest

shooting before or after legal shooting times definitely followed by trespassing.

I use muzzy mx-3. Both deer i shot with it were complete pass throughs and the second one passed through the deer and right into a rock. Didn't even cause any damage to it.

I always put a scope on my guns. There hasn't been a time where i wished i didn't have a scope.

I'd probably take him during bow if I had the chance but if he lives another year he could be awesome. He looks 2.5

disagree but all for it when done voluntarily. Some people barely have time to go hunting in their busy lives and may never see a legal buck, so legalizing it would turn a lot of people away from the sport.

They definitely knew where the stand and possibly the camera were, and they planned to target them. I would guess jealous neighbors who have trespassed on your last recently or someone you previously met and maybe mentioned your stand setup.

I keep in decent shape but every hunting season, hiking up the hills with a bunch of gear is always tough especially the first few times. I'm huffing and puffing after 5 minutes at first and then after a few weeks of it i'm able to go longer and farther.

I won't be able to make it out until the weekend so I'm hoping for good weather because I'm pulling an all day-er at least 1 of those days.

my boots gets a good spray down with scent killer but more importantly they stay on the front porch all season long with my hunting clothes in a garbage bag.

i went to check a stand yesterday and my 5 screw in pegs were gone. lol. stand was still there though.
