I just LOLd in my office at work. I hate to ask, but how many times have you used a double headed dingdong?

If we're trying to figure out driver mentality, can someone explain to me doing 45 in a 55 and then head into a village and do 45 in a 30? Drives me nuts.

Is it OK to be disappointed with a deer you shot?

Side note - kelly and I walked the dog Saturday evening in the backyard. She says...what is your arrow doing in the tree?!?!?! I couldn't remember who to blame it on...I told her the trad guy did it.

Absolutely one thing is positive this year - I am not in the running, haha. You and David will need to do some Rochambeau or something to figure that one out...lol.

I tend to buy the cheaper basic two-burner grills. No frills. Gone through two in 10 years. The igniters tend to be real crap but nothing that your $1.00 long neck lighter doesn't solve. I've paid less than $100 for each grill - the last one was $79.00 on clearance. Last September during our "biggest buck buys" dinner...I cooked up three tomahawks that cost more than the grill did. No complaints from the taste testers. Cooked up some bear too that day. Short of needing a pretty grill to fit in with some hardscaping or something...I do not see myself spending that kind of coin. I'll buy and replace every 4-5 years.

Sorry, I don't check the posts very often here. Best to reach out via PM. Models are both their 4G blackflash.

I'd like to think I'd still be willing to try a top speed run. Good thing I don't own one any longer to disprove that, haha. The bigger dump was due to a bass boat coming out of a creek I did not expect. The wake was immediate and no recourse. I was dumb. Somehow I survived. I'm the equivalent of a 1.5 y/o buck that fortunately came across a mature buck hunter a few times who let me go and somehow I made it to adulthood. Maybe I learned, I guess.

I wouldn't touch that deal...$1K to high IMO. Never a fan of buying 20 YO PWC. They get worn from use OR from non-use. Seen too many low hour machines be just as bad as high hours.

I've done it twice above 40 but never with intent. One of them above 50. Neither time was enjoyable and the 56 MPH dump laid me up for four days. I'll honestly say I don't know how I didn't die or break a bone but it remains to this day the second most pain I've ever felt (after blowing out L2-L3). My Yahama 1200R was a big girl, but she pushed amazing power and was steady. Then I upgraded into a full stage turbo kit, impeller and exhaust. She did 72 stock on glass water and I'll be honest, I saw the speedometer hit 80 once for a fleeting second after the modifications and I couldn't handle it any longer and successfully backed her off. Both dumps I walked on water. The bigger one I walked on water for way too long and it was exceptionally quiet for that time until the pain and momentum finally caught up to my brain. I've been on one PWC since 2005. I miss it like crazy but they make no sense in NY. When I live in VA and did watercross, it was worth it because we were on them every weekend 7-8 mos a year. 70MPH on water is the equivalent of doing 140-160 on land. It's intense.

We had Griffith/Superior for 9 years while we owned our first house. They were by far the cheapest. I price locked on contract and always got a good rate. When I was unfavorable, I beat them up the next year and recovered. Only had one issue when there was that propane shortage a while back and they couldn't get me propane for a few days. I let them have it and they sent out one of the small emergency trucks with the tiny tanks in the bed and floated me 50 gal to get me by until the normal truck could fill me up. Ended up getting the 50 gal for free. I typically would speak with the branch manager. An email to corporate and CCd to the branch manager does wonders.

I'm pretty accepting of coffee any style save for it needing to be hot (iced coffee is not a thing) and I've just never been a huge fan of very dark roasts. Not sure why. I can drink it black, with creamer, sugar, etc. The best coffee I ever had was coffee bought while in Jamaica from the Blue Mountains. It was phenomenal. I drank it all black...so smooth. Zero bitterness. I brought in enough to make a large carafe for my work peers. Worst decision ever...they loved it too. We all stood in the break room drinking it til it was gone. Work could wait at that point. During the weekday we are indeed a Keurig household. Convenience rules the roost. On the weekend I'll break out a french press.

No idea which i prefer...none most likely. Neither sounds particularly exciting to me. I had to "work from home" two days a few weeks back due to the flu. First time in ages and I get the flu shot, too. Ran a 102.7 fever for quite some time. It went around our workplace like the a zombie virus. Thankfully I am hoping we're clear of it.

I use the AC Delco if the rayovacs or job smart are not on sale. Harbor Frieght, too once on sale are really good. I've seen the AC Delco down to $17.99 at times. I think my last buy was Job Smart w/120 AA for $20. I use lithium in my cells, video cams, and the few cams where I will set in deep of winter or for 6+ months without revisiting. For modern cams on pic mode, not over a point source attractant, alkaline will work well during spring, summer, and into fall. The cost per pic actually favors alkaline over lithium each time I've sat down to do the math - usually by a 2:1 or 3:1 margin. When thrifty, you can get alkaline on sale from $0.06 to $0.20 per battery. $0.85 is about the peak of value for lithium and lithium is sometimes exposed to fakes. Lithium when you need it; alkaline for all else. Rechargable are an option but I hate how some cams don't function as well with them, sometimes not at all due to voltage cutoff. Externals...only on my cell cams at this point. *Edit...let's also add most people frequent their cams often enough to not need lithium in many situations.

For some context. That was a funny morning...we couldn't stop laughing. Nobody would believe us seeing that buck if he was killed and videod. Moog pretty much guessed right where the buck fell too. easy track job.

We researched it after the ground check. Hard to find many 4 pts anywhere that big. Seen one that might be roughly same score but it was a main frame 6 without brows. We joke that he may have shot a world class 4 pt but it's likely true.

I have a Browning BTC 5HD that’s been on the shelf for a few years. Had about 10 days of field life. The internal power source to hold date/time/settings doesn’t hold the info after the cam is turned off requiring it to be reset if you want that info or specific settings. Essentially you just need to remember to reset the info after you power cam off and on. Outside of that the cam works phenomenally. A risk taker could open the cam up to fix it but my experience has been it is hit or miss. Probably best to just deal with it since it’s a really good performing cam. I’d still use the cam but with as many as I run I don’t want to remember to reset the date and time. This is really is a high end cam for a youth if he or she is willing to re-enter info. Would prefer it be for a youth that can use the cam on his or her own (teenager) as opposed to a parent using it alongside their real little one. My intent is to help out the immediate up and comer generation. I’ll toss in batteries and card too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
