welcome to the site.wow i always thought duck/geese hunting was so cool. back in the day the 80's i use to rent skiffs to go flounder fishing in the fall into November [aaah those were days, we actually could catch flounder.] and the duck/ geese hunters would rent skiffs to hunt brants . this was in long beach/ point look out area. and i use to go out to moriches too. theres still a hunt club on the island on oyster bay in bayville ,my sister lives there and i took my nephew there to get his hunter safety certificate

hi , first did you assemble the cutter and the dies the right way i did it backwards the that happened to me and i said this thing sucks then i realized it was me and did you put the parts that come in contact with the meat in the freezer too for about 20 min. lastly did you use the largest die first cause the smaller ones will do that too their not made to take whole meat. please under stand im speaking from experience the machine i got was my dads and its 40 yrs old and works fine [ he passed away and i inherited so i was on my own ]

yeah i make sausage there are a few good sites i go to what are you trying to make i got a smoker for christmas and i want to try and make kabosy [ lol im not polish sorry about the spelling] i make fresh sausage italian [thats what i am] and a few cured sausage . just remember cold, clean and clorox[ 1 tbs to a gallon of water ] and when i say cold i mean every thing that comes in contact with the meat and the meat too in the freezer and the grinder parts too for 20 mins or so if not the meat gets warm and the fat melts and sticks to every thing and when you grind the meat back in the freezer for a little while you get ready to stuff as long .

yeah theres alot of editions but they do post local news like stuff from the dec and such. but when they give their reviews of state land its very general and redundant i mean i been reading it for years and its the same old thing but i like the photos that are posted in the one feature. for better articles its the conservationist and outdoor news. but while im here i do need to vent lol i been reading the fisherman magazine[ use to be the long island fisherman] since 1974 and its so sad how they act . i mean it took them years to get a website and you cant view anything without paying, they use to charge $1.50 for the magazine then they added more ads and then asked $3.50. i read noreast saltwater and go on their site so much more informative and its free

my 8 pt i shot a few years ago i was sitting my rock looking up to the deer run coming off the ridge and i heard him grunt and i says to myself wow nobodys suppost to be up there i mean it sounded so fake. he came running down the deer run and i nailed him but i thought it was somebody with a grunt call. this year im in the tree stand bow hunting and a buck comes out of the hay bales in to the field 83 yds i bleated and he didnt even lift his head i just wish i took a photo thats about all i could do. i guess it might work . i'll tell you though sometimes i give the deer i see when not hunting a wheeze and man does that get their attention.
