nice i ride my bike over to jamaica bay and i talk to the kayakers all the time they usually bucktail by jfk . when the blues are running they use 007 jigs . when i retire im getting a yak for sure looks like so much fun and a hell of a lot cheaper than owning a boat

i just seen the new lumeknocks so cool like a kids sparklers and they turn off much easier than the old ones i think the guy @ my pro shop said they go for like $20 for three oh and they come with sleeves so they fit any arrow .that was the issue i had with them turning them off and using paper to make them fit my arrows. i had ones you twisted off they were the worst and the other ones with the switch on the side was a pain to try to turn off. oh and one set i bought and threw away [waste of money]would turn on if you just knocked the arrow they had a button in the back of the knock

wow i had the same problem with my friend his were registered with the city and he died he was 86 he wanted me to sell them for him what a hassel cause they were register with the city but when he died and his daughter had given them to an ffl dealer to hold them .wow you surrendered them and its near impossible to get them back you should have taken them to an ffl dealer to hold for you, i know a lawyer in manhattan but he deals with people trying to get a pistol permit' but no matter what you have to deal with a FFL dealer. but what you can do is contact one i'll pm you with a few if you like. it use to be an honor to have a rifle shot gun permit and register your guns in the city now its a curse -
i do and a face mask too I HATE paint plus it rubs off lite ones early season and a little heavier later on plus with the hand wamers

i hunt 4h and 4r oak hill and durham area in oak hill we took a ride and seen more does than you can count but didnt get a dmp tag i got one for 4r but with a pp from last year. it seems that they give them out like candy in suburban areas where its difficult to find a place to hunt. you know if we complain they say oh well we'll go back to the old way like in the 60's and 70's with the party permit system . somethings they do are good like being able to transfer or swap dmp tags. but its really frustrating not getting one with the pp and seeing only does or small bucks.its the same with salt water regs it seems they use it more as a way to control hunters than a conservation tool

yeah i just said in another post about what we drink . i said in that one that im on water pills and man when they hit thats it you got to go.i have one cup of coffee and bring a thermos of tea and 2 .5 liter waters, what i bring with me are these things called brief reliefs . long haul truckers use them too .what they are is a kit thats a plastic bag with a powder in it when you use it it gels up you seal it and no scent it comes with a hand wipe but i use my own from dead down wind no scent and they're landfill safe so just throw them in the garbage

hey i like you name vizslas the best hunting dog around. dont worry and TAKE YOUR TIME TO HEAL . i say that cause my mom had a hip replacement and shes not the type to sit around shes always on the move well she over did it and now shes in more pain then when she got the replacement really bad couldnt sleep in constant pain granted shes 79. she was doing good walking with out the cane and no pain. you have plenty of time atlest a month and 1/2. good luck
-
yeah for me and this is my personal preference i like the 3 pin set up im use to it i had a deer @ about 37 yrds i say about cause i ranged a tree before i shot you know nothing else to do i take ranges .all i did was put the 40 yd pin on her back and the 30 on the white on her chest i hit dead center in the lungs . but i know guys and some on here that love the single pin .i tried it on my friends bow i really couldnt be bothered moving site with the lever on the side . i imagine the newer bows have a better system for sighting his was an older bow. but than again its getting to know you bow i practiced at odd ranges 25 yds and 35 yds as well as 20-30 and 40 yds

well in my opinion you are both right and it shouldnt ruin a friendship or partnership maybe you could both compromise . as for a dog ruining your hunting is b/s i had a dog that belonged to my friend a beautiful shep/lab mix named shadow she would follow me in the woods sometimes she would go back and sometimes she would stay with me it depended on how she felt but anyway she would sit with me on the stand [not a tree stand lol] and i would see just as much deer if she wasnt there.it was funny i brought my neighbor up and he sees her and radios me that he seen a bear i told him NO!! thats shadow its ok
-
yeah eddie same here what is it can you post it here
-
hey good luck, i know what your saying about the co- pays and deductibles cant afford to go to the doctor .my wife had blood work done and my doctor switched labs and didnt tell us the lab was out of network $210 on top of the $30 co-pay just to see the doctor

hi, if anyone else would let a deer walk. i mean last year i was in a stand and there was this doe a nice young doe with a pretty face 20-30 yds from me it was the last day of gun season for me[ i went for a knee replacement on 11/30]. well like i said this doe comes in to my field and i watched her for like 10 mins i was amazed how she would disappear and im like wow where did she go and i would see her flick her tail or raise her leg. i know alot of guys on here would do the same as me i mean i love deer meat and could justify shooting a young deer like well i pay alot for my license i got a doe tag that says i could, but in reality what would have i gotten a hot dog off her plus i would very embarrassed to bring her back to the house where i stay and the guys i hunt with said that i did the right thing.i have been hunting for 30 yrs and can count the deer i got on both hands . she was just too cute to shoot
