hey guys just my two cents im a diabetic and i have to watch my diet and i have added veggies MORE to my diet im a meat hunter [ my dad use to say you cant eat antlers] and venison is the MOST healthiest meat there is. EVEN uncle ted [ ted nugent] if you watched his show does the 80/ 20 rule that is 80% healthy and 20% junk. Yes i have see fat vegans [pizza is vegan food lol]. Carbs and anything white is a killer for me sugar flour ect.. And see being italian i know my carbs lol but see italians in italy dont eat like italian americans. People from naples are called leaf eaters. its all about balance like the chinese ying and yang thing

hey grey beard yes i agree with blues being a good choice for action but to eat them is another story i smoke them but only take a few for that. Nowadays with crazy regs we have to be a little creative to take something home [ the charter and party boats too just to stay in business] what the best thing to do is take a split charter or on a party boat they fish for two species say fluke in the morning then switch to stripers or visa versa they do it with blackfish too which are great eating, He could also go for sea bass to which is the best eating fish on the planet.

hey right up my alley ,well in this day and age of archaic and confusing regulations the best i would recommend is a few 1} porgies you get 45 on a party boat or charter in montauk or orient pt.[ which i recommend]BUT @ the right time AND each state has their own rules which is even more confusing. You can go to north carolina morehead city ,the boat i go on is the carolina princess and they have a 24 hr trips that i go on and you get double the regs cause you are fishing 2 days. if you want yuo can go for cod and pollack and haddock in new england i have a few boats i can recommend. P/m me and i will tell you which boats and best times to go.

please guys i cant take this any more everyone at each others throats .We lost growalot and now wooly is leaving. I see a post and some one dont like it and attacks then someone responds and attacks. i realize its our slow time and we dont have anything to shoot at but some post have gotten out of hand and really vicious . try a simple test point at something small on the wall with your finger close your left eye if it stays your right eye dominate try with your left it should be in a different spot. I injured my right eye when i was 20 and got flashed when i worked in the welding shop[ young and dumb] so my left eye is better than my right but i still shoot right handed . I always thought cause my dad taught me to shoot i shot right handed cause im write and do most things left handed except play the guitar and box [ briefly golden gloves again young and dumb#2]

wow i cant peg just one so many memories .Thats what i keep going hunting for and its funny the best were when i didnt even get a deer.Time spent with my dad he passed in 2003 and my friend who passed in june he was 86. Such good times i get sad sometimes but i keep going. OH yeah you can call me a bozo i never got a turkey i hope to get one this may so by all means call me a bozo till then lol.

well my two cents,we all can just be a little more concienous thats all .As a boat owner i HATE them i can count atlest 6 xs i had them wrapped around my outboard intakes once by coney island the alarm went off and the motor idled down i had to stop and raise the motor very quickly cut it off with a knife .It was in coming tide and almost wound up on shore[ the russians were sunbathing i got a nice view so it wasnt all bad]. But when im hunting or even fishing i use them alot. for my pbj sandwiches and other stuff But @ home we reuse them alot before we throw them out. Believe me im far from a tree hugging environmentist but when i go to aldis and b/j and costco i keep them in my car and use them over again .See i lived under bloombergs thumb and everything he came up with had to do with dollars and cents like he proposed a dime a bag and it went no where . so the state and city look at something and say OOOoo lets raise some and solve a problem at the same time and you know what the public is getting wise to their games.

what brand fry daddy is horrible. Being italian ,christmas eve is fish nite . THE fry daddy takes a year and a day to heat up and if you put too much in there they dont fry comes out soggy its like three pieces of shrimp or calamari @ a time. Wind up doing it in a cast iron pot on the stove.We fry calamari , scallops and shrimp and fish that i caught all summer and fall.

i for one agree and again its imho .But also what about gambling you can be 18 to buy scratch offs, play the numbers, and play powerball and go in a casino,but not have a drink or a cigarette/ cigar till you are 21. andy up in albany should put his money where his mouth is . They will never make the minimum age 21 cause they would lose revenue . A kid can go to war and fight and die for his country @19 but cant come home and legally have a beer and a cigarette/ cigar .How hypocritical the goverment in their devine wisdom tell us what we are allowed to do and not. Oh yeah when i got married in'81 it was a month before my 21 b'day my dad had to sign for me but my wife didnt cause women can be 18 in this state

my wedding anniversary was wed. going to the city[ yeah i live in queens but manhattan is still the city to me]to see the play beautiful[ the wifes thing not mine] and then to patriza's in williamsburg awesome food, across the street from peter lugers but alot cheaper

good goin' so important to sight in. I was @ the show in harrisburg and was talking to an outfitter/guide from alberta, his #1 complaint is guys not sighting in and not shooting enough to be proficient enough to shoot and bragging about what a great shot they are.My friend god rest his soul [ he was 86 he died in june] a few years ago i took him to the range out on the island[long island that is] and he says all the way out i could hit a cigarette pack @ 100 yrs . Well he gets on the bench and wasnt even on paper. It took 2 boxes of ammo to get him sighted in. I told him 20 yrs ago you may have hit a cigarette pack but not now.He was a original bow hunter from the 50's i told him clint ,would you bow hunt with out shooting your bow constantly and he says no way. The gun sits there it doesnt change but we do our eyes and even our hand /eye coordination does and even putting on a few pounds changes things alot.
