  9. you using it in saltwater or fresh and yes you can use it.also, silicone that is used for fishtanks can be used. in the beginning they wont leak but cheaper ones will break down and leak eventually especially in salt water.what happens with the cheap ones not rated marine or for fishtanks they become crumbly if you ever removed old caulk you know what i mean
  10. my condolences i know how you feel i lost my huntin' buddy too i know he was 86 but the man taught me so much and i miss him. in the outdoors we share so much together i mean we live together and break bread together .when our friends are gone its like part of me went with him but man i do have great memories and i treasure those

  14. thats my first love i was 6 yrs old i caught my first fish it was on the ten mile river in narrowsburg 1/4 mile from my grandmoms summer home i dug worms and caught a bluegill brought it home my father made me put it outside and a racccon ate it(i never let him go for that lol) i fished the lakes and reservoirs in sullivan cty and of course the delaware.i move to ozone park when i was 14 and fished and crabbed off the bridge to rockaway. i took my grandson fishing last year to carry on the tradition . i just got back into fresh water again fly fishing. i go to north carolina for red snappers and groupers. im going again to Rochester to fish for salmon and rainbow trout. i love hunting but fishing is my first love
  15. in my prayers for a speedy recovery
  16. speaking of the rage broadheads i use them had big problems with them not locking and constantly opening . i bought the relacement blades kit ( big mistake!!)it was horrible to try to get the pins out that and hitting them back in. i threw the broadheads away and bought new ones a waste of $24, i went to the hardware store and bought the rubber ''o'' rings for $1.99 and believe it or not they held better . the original rages had there problems but been told the new ones with the shock collars are better
  17. wow thank you for starting this, where should i start ,well every time i go to the sportmans show i get sucked in to buying something. there was the hand warmers that you boiled they were hot alright for a 1/2 hr, the bow carrier that you put around your neck seemed like a good idea freeing up your hands, well the thing cut into your neck and the bow swung back and forth while you walked.knife sharpeners(i have a fetish about sharp knives) metal polishes . but other things i tried and sucked too are the buck bomb(leaked wouldnt spray) the butt out oh its works but you have to becareful you rip the anal canal right out and you still have to cut the p tube easy on a buck not so on a doe. well i dont watch t.v. in the middle of the nite anymore they look good but by the time you pay the shipping and handling cost and find out they suck not worth the money as seen on t.v.
  18. wow thank you you really made my day congrats
  19. my apologies ididnt read the post correctly but still a nice walleye, i just got back into fresh water fishing i love it so serene and relaxing compared to saltwater its was just me and the river. i grew up fishing the Delaware and ten mile river in narrowsburg i cut my teeth in fresh water. i'll be going to Rochester on lake Ontario for salmon and trout but its alot like saltwater fishing we are chartering a boat, i fished catskill creek and tenmile creek in oak hill in April and first part of may the rivers were running fast but i fished two good times
  20. wow nice catch thats a walleye though. good luck i hope its better than the trout season we had
