  1. A snow blower would be cheaper
  2. Is there a difference between all wheel drive and four wheel drive? All-wheel drive is in some ways similar to the full-time 4WD system in that it also sends torque to all four wheels constantly. However, most modern AWD systems don't offer drivers the option to operate in two-wheel drive and, unlike the 4WD systems, the differential between the front and rear axles cannot be locked.
  3. Depends on who you talk to. I personally prefer a four wheel drive. My wife has a awd suv that has been great and will go anywhere we have tried it but I have never tried it off road. If you do any off road I would suggest 4-wheel drive. Just one opinion.

  5. It is sure amazing how far they have come in such a short amount of time.
  6. That sir is your choice..... Why would I go through the hassle and jeopardize my right to carry for 3 rounds. It will probably never happen but like many laws; I don't agree with it but will abide.
  7. I worry more about the "Local" authorities trying to make a name for them selves/deputy dawg that is why I still only load seven when I am out. I doubt very much they know a thing about PL 265.37. All they know is the "LAW" says 7-rounds. Until it says different that is all I will have loaded but will have a x-tra mag. not to far away.
  8. I have heard nothing but good about them and if they are capable of holding one by the toes they must be good. I have had them pull the stakes and trap more than once. I will have to put some of them on my list of things to get for sure even though they are pricey
  9. You probably have some of the best public land in the state to hunt right on your door step.
  10. .who's on the band wagon for Oprah for president?! Her running for president would be about as dumb as a Texas heart shot. She is just looking for more publicity and to boost her ego.
  11. Sum up your season- partys over What your best and worst of 2017 hunting - what did you learn? I personally had to think about this one a bit. My “season” isn’t over until the end of March. One thing I can say I got out of this season is to not devote as much time deer hunting as I did this year and years past. Much too often I am asking myself why I didn’t do this or that when I wanted and the answer always comes back to: “I was busy deer hunting”. I have realized this in the past but never acted on it and found myself in the deer hunting mode time and time again leaving the woods disappointed. I used to be disappointed I didn’t have enough time to deer hunt because I was doing other things but have come to realize that I need to be doing the “other” things that will keep me enjoying the woods that time of year. I actually had a plan in place for this year but the warm temperatures and constant rains put a kibosh on things Hopefully next season the weather will be more normal and I will deer hunt when I should and do the other fun things when I want to. Deer hunting will definitely be on the back burner from now on.
  12. In alphabetical order: Bear, Cottontail Rabbit, Coyote, Deer, Fox, Grouse, Raccoon, Snowshoe Rabbit, Squirrels. Pheasants, Turkey, and Woodcock
  13. I am going to get the popcorn ready for this one
  14. If you spent the night out in those temps. you would be flipping out too. Congratulations on the catch. I have never caught one by the hind foot. Judging from the catch circle he sure tried to get out an am surprised he didn't. Is that by chance a 550 holding him? hats off for sticking it out this time of year. Definitely the hardest time of year to trap.
  15. Hunting goals for 2018 To not spend as much time deer hunting.
  16. Only place I really got lost was at Eastview Mall. I can find my way out of any woods but the concrete ones.
  17. From the "article" "…It makes me think twice about walking my dog there," wrote Lisa VanGorder. "I have seen signs every 20 feet about Lyme disease but never anything about hunting? Hunting in a park just doesn't sound right to me…" What a Ditz...... If she only knew what goes on in Durand Eastman while "sharpshooters" are shooting deer at night.
  18. Best quarterback the Bills EVER had and probably ever will have: Doug Flutie
  19. He isn't mine but I think a honorable mention is in order:
  20. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Hope this years bow season is more productive than last!!!
