  2. Well done!!!!....that arrow definitely penetrated enough to cause some serious damage! Did the arrow end up breaking off inside or just fall out? Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  3. I agree it was just one of those unbelievable mornings..... The two other guys that wore out only saw one deer between the two of them Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  4. Bucks all over this morning....just had the potentially 7th different buck within sight. Two studs appeared one after another right before the 7th.....they will def make me keep my bow on the hook for a while. They came into the field around 55 yards away and slowly progressed across without a care in the world. They also payed not attention to the blest or grunt tube. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  5. Don't leave us hanging....did you grab the arrow yet? What sound did the arrow make at impact....loud snapping?? Potential high shoulder hit? Post a pic of the arrow and amount it penetrated. Hopefully that broadhead was grinding a bit as he was running and chewing up a nice hole. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  6. What I believe was the fourth different buck this morning just appeared out of nowhere in the field.....he was about 75 yards it so I videoed him for my boys to watch later and then decided to hit the bleat can.......he became interested really quick and high tailed it to within 40 yards....but no real clear shot with the leaves and low hanging branches. Nice cover....but they limit the shot opportunities. Not a bad morning so far. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  7. Just had a young buck pop out of the woods 100 yards east of me(headed away)....made his way into the field and 35 yards broadside from another stand I passed this am.....no worries though he would have gotten a pass from me ....barely above his ears. On the plus side great to see movement!! Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  8. Setup for the first time this season.....saw a small buck crossing the field early before getting to my stand. The drive was interesting with pea soup fog at times. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  9. Live from the basement... Cant kill'em from the couch. To Young for the youth season.....but that doesn't stop him from prepping! Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  10. Just traveled from Brockport back to Hamburg via the 90 and did not see one deer in any field. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  11. Got mine from a guy on here....he placed and add on day and it ended up being a perfect situation for me. Have ended up building a great relationship with him and he recently put me into a bigger parcel. Cut my drive time one way down a ton....in the end it is deff worth it if you can get closer to home. 12. Buy a cabelas brand blind....their products have a lifetime warranty. Simply return damaged blind and they will issue a new one. I just did that with an ATV cover. When I bought it the salesman told me even if it fades i could return it for a new one. So after a few seasons outside It was faded and starting to dry rotted, so i packed it up...took it to the service desk and they swapped it out for a new one. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

  14. I bet it was worth every second of lost sleep! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  15. With a few last minute audibles and pulled a rabbit out of my hat. Got to one lease and trimmed some shooting Lane's and cut up a downed tree around my dad's new stand placement. Also put out a blind for crappy weather days and for my dad when he brings out the crossbow. Then moved to another property and cleaned up the main trail of downed trees, checked all stands and cleared Lane's and hung a few cams. Overall great day and accomplished a ton that I wasn't expecting to get done today. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  16. Took the garbage out around 8.....was around 48. Being near lake Erie typically keeps us a little warmer into the fall. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  17. Had a deer on one property we hunt a few years ...he was the #2 buck and one night I got a trail cam pic of him looking good with a full rack.....next morning he makes his way through right out of my comfort level so I decided not to shoot....luck would have it as he turns moments after I decide not to shoot he shows the entire right side snapped off.....well the #1 buck was on the property that previous night too and it looked like #2 lost a rough battle and half a rack. 18. Close....but not as close as i would like to be. Moved my Dad's stand around at one property and need to cut up a fallen tree for a better shooting lane. Would love to pull some cams tomorrow but other items on the to do list need to be tackeled first. Also have two pallet blinds partially assembled.... Those may not see the woods this season. 19. Agree with sitting Monday afternoon ...may catch one cruzing their summer travel route from bedding to fields. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  20. I am in for the gorilla...I believe your in the wny area? Had a slip last year ....and now I won't travel up a stand without a harness. Was going to start shopping this week....so if your willing to part with the gorilla I would love to try it. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  21. Is this a taptalk issue? Why are the pics in this thread the same as G-mans railroad bucks thread? Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  22. That poor guy may have just experienced the worst day of his life! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  23. We bought one for my Dad this past Xmas.....I have been nagging him to bust it the last few weeks.....looks like I will have to pin him down next weekend and get it dialed in. Review will be posted following. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  24. Found the first pic on a logging road....actually my two boys and wife found it and were curious to know who or what left that behind. 2nd pic was on the seat of a double wide ladder stand over looking an oat field. Any guesses? Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  25. Agree...no way that speed is being obtained when the draw length is 3.5 inches short of that bows max draw. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
