Like G-man said it gets tuff with the snow flying over your windshield. The sleds are designed to ride on top. Alot less control in the fluffy stuff, but a good rider will make it through deep stuff. -

So if you have a semi-auto, with a detachable clip, and after the bill was passed you buy a thumbhole stock.......can you keep the stock and just register the gun? or did you have to have the stock last week?

Just made the walk of shame up to the attic to organize and lay to rest my "Deer Gear" until next summer. It is fun to put away stuff and think back over the last few months of the season. As I was putting away my wife's .30-.30 It brought back great memories of her harvesting her first deer opening day afternoon.

I guy I hunt with took a doe a few seasons ago with his .338 at around 130 yards, you could put your fist through the entry hole. The gun has gone back in the cabinet and not come out since. -

Native Americans let their deer hang for well over a week in the area I live, your meat should be ok. Like WNY send...if the meat smells bad you are in trouble. Wish you all the luck.

Glassed a doe in the field after getting out of my stand Tues afternoon. As I am about to put the Binos down I see some movement next to the hedgerow and what looked like a Buck was making his way out into the field as well, Sure enough 5 minutes later he was running her in circles.

No reason to be deleted.. U missed...It happens....your cousin missed...that happens too!! Moral of this story is make sure your gun is loaded when deer hunting, and shoot three times in case you miss on the first two!!!

Unless you have ice runnning through your veins everyone gets the shakes every now and then. There is just something special when an amazing deer presents a great shot. Just human nature, some people have the ability to calm themselves others never will. As far a people stating they never get nervous or shaky I call B.S.! And you might have to reconsider if your a hunter or just a deer killer??

Nothing worng with a sent drag this week. Bucks (young and old) are going nose to the ground right now and you wont know if it works until you give it a crack. 10 days ago in the southern tier we scared off every buck(they were all young) that came in near the estrus. timing just wasnt right. If you go to extreme lenghts to be "Scent-Free" and then stink up the woods with estrus it can backfire on you.
