  1. Eastern coyotes are very skittish and leery compared to their Western cousins. I have hunted coyotes for approx. 10 yrs. I would recommend a couple of mouth calls to start. There are so many to choose from on the market. I have the Foxpro Fusion electronic call which is a premium electronic call which is out of your budget. I would look at used Foxpro FX5 models on ebay you might be able to get one around $250. or a little cheaper. The best tips I have for you: 1) Set up downwind of an electronic call approx. 50-75 yds. in light cover. Coyotes tend to not come out in open fields in daylight hours but do occasionally to calling. 2) When using mouth calls try to have a partner set up downwind to catch the coyote circling downwind same goes for electronic call. Both calling situations you are set up to catch the coyote circling downwind from the electronic call or the mouth caller. 3) As I stated above coyotes are skittish and leery you need to stay on stand for approx. 40 min. to an hr. I have had them come in at 5 min. but usually don't show till 20 min. + Note: I love using an electronic call and treestands with caller set upwind of me. Good luck!
  2. Congrats. That's a true trophy for sure.
  3. Now deer porn....what's next? lol
  4. Deer are amazingly tough animals and they have an amazing will to live.
  5. Great buck! you deserve one for all your efforts on helping others.
  6. That bear is huge and would scare the daylights out of a normal man by just seeing it.
  7. That's impressive and that knife is quite sharp and seems to not dull.
  8. Very nice buck! that's some great determination and patience to stalk within range.
  9. That sucks. I assume as you stated that you caught somebody trespassing.
  10. That really is annoying when you pass a buck and that happens been there numerous times. I feel to actually let deer pass you need at least 500 acres or at least you and your neighbors follow the same management practices.
  11. I would suggest deer search or get as many people as you can to comb the area in a grid pattern. I would wait till mid morning so you don't ruin other hunters sitting in the AM. It sounds like you might of one lunged it somehow with a gun.
  12. That's a big bear. Harvest that beast so we can get an actual weight. I'm guessing 370 lbs.
  13. That buck from last yr. is quite impressive too.
  14. Nice buck for sure! I would have to agree that buck isn't 160's green. I'm guessing 140's green.
  15. Great recovery and not giving up on finding him.

    2014 Buck

    That's a great buck.
  17. That's an impressive 4 or 5 point for sure.
  18. I tried the copper sabots years ago out of a 11-87 rifled barrel and hand poor results. I shoot Hornady SST now and won't shoot anything else.
