    If you want to use a variable power scope and have the range subtensions (lines / dots) usable at all powers, you would need to use a FFP (front focal plane) scope.

    I had a rifle cerakoted by Eddie Fosnaugh of Fosnaugh Customs. The job was superb and the turn around time rather fast. I believe it was a shade over $225. Highly recommend Eddie.

    I just ordered a Scorpyd DeathStalker. 17.5" uncocked, 10.5" cocked, 6.2 # barebow, 130# DW. NY legal and shoots around 380fps. I was looking at the new Sub-1 (Misson) not legal. Also most of the Excals have DW way over the 200# limit. The new Ten points and Ravin are too narrow... not legal. These stupid NY regs are problematic.

    Never been lost per se... once during heavy fog I got turned around a bit. Once the fog cleared I was G2G.

    With all due respect, I do comprehend the word ARBITRARY! Seems to me the entire discussion should focus on accuracy, effectiveness and providing "clean kills". Having some goobermint official decide on what is fair or not (based on emotion or feelings) is not the correct approach.

    200# is just a stupid, arbitrary number. Many of the new Xbow offerings are NYS illegal due to that... plus the 17" limb tip measurement.
