Agree with above. My wife shoots a laminated Ruger Compact in 7mm-08. It's a nice little rifle and suits her fine. That said, it is only ok accuracy-wise. I'd not buy another if I had the chance.

U boys gots it easy. We are still in the 90's and I have to cut every 5-6 days!

I can chime in a bit. For a reasonable hog hunt (about $200 per day), Wild Florida Outfitters is good. The owner is Terry Parlier who used to be a state gator trapper years ago when I worked at Disney. He's a stand up guy, and we (he and I) took many reptiles out of the Dismal swamps! They do hog and gator hunts. As a matter of fact, I have a 10.5' mounted gator head as a gift from Terry. Another option is West Shore Outfitters. They are more costly, but do offer a cool thermal night hog hunt for $325. I think their regular daytime hog hunts run about $300-325 per day. Hope this helps.

Perhaps I just placed a wrong interpretation on your statement. It sounded (to me) like you (the great Bwana and grantor of all gifts) feel us mere mortals should be grateful for your kind deliverance of allowance. It sounded a bit like a granted gift from KJU to the lowly peasants of NPK. We should all be thankful.

Low Talley Rings on a 336
bugsNbows replied to SilentStalker's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
Good deal. I have low talley's on a rifle that originally had a 3x9 40 mm scope and clearance was fine. It depends on the scope design and ER also. U may need to tweak the mounting a bit. -

HERE COMES THE GUN LAWS
bugsNbows replied to ryan's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Actually, no. A gunshop can refuse the sale. Whether they do or not, that's another question. -

HERE COMES THE GUN LAWS

We all know the leftist, Progressive Democrat mantra... never let a good crisis go to waste. Pathetic. -
Geez Dan, whatcha doing making that sweet little lady drink a Genny? Good grief.

Here is a jumping coyote from last November... -
Some bows can be safely de-cocked without firing into a discharge target (or similar). Both of mine (Camx and Kodabow) are like that. You use the rope and basically (safely) by-pass the anti-dry fire mechanism.
-
Some of those bows are very difficult to cock for sure. One of mine is easy, the other is quite a bit harder.

Thank you very much!
