  1. Very nice. I only have one Euro but I like them a lot. Congrats.
  2. Ah, the K.I.S.S. theory. Good on you.
  3. Seems to be a little light reflection at the top. LOL. Lovely couple right there. Congrats.
  4. Cutie for sure. Ain't nuthin' like puppy breath in the morning!
  5. LOL, now I know what you look like.
  6. Sounds like a viable solution... unless you are on State land (or private land for that matter) where no screw in attachments are permitted in live trees. I've used a pipe for this before and it worked just fine. Good luck... and stay safe.
  7. I tried some a bit ago. Worked ok for the intended purpose. Your gun may (or may not) like them. Give 'em a try. What do you have to lose?
  8. When I used them (years ago) I placed my elbow on the first installed step and then measured to my fingertips... where I'd put the next step. Kind of a built-in tape measure I guess.
  9. I've been in Florida since 1976. That's where the jobs were and the grandkids are. That said, I'm sick of the heat. Maybe one day I'll move back. Too bad NYS is full of libby idiots and sky high taxes. That's why I left.
  10. Here is my take. Notice that I live in Florida now. However, I have hunted in FL, GA, TX, KY, PA, MD and SC. I still make the 20 hour drive up to NY every fall to hunt. Why, because it's my "home". I was born and raised in Steuben County. I love to hunt there, and have done so since the 60's. Likely, I'll continue as long as I'm able. I've killed many deer (some fairly big and some dinks too). It doesn't really matter. It's a way of life... my life. I introduced my wife to hunting in the 80's. She loves it too, and always comes north with me. That's the way it is... and ought to be. Nuff said.
  11. Pretty tall... nice buck. I'd shoot him for sure.
  12. No clue really. Is it carb or fuel injected?
  13. If you were in the deep south, I'd say they were termite monitoring stations. They do that in Mississippi to test chemical efficacy.
  14. I switched the washer around putting the "flat" side towards the shaft... more gooder now.
  15. Wow, what an incredible video.
  16. I just bought a pack of Slick Trick 100's. Mounted one on a shaft and it wobbled like a drunken sailor. Will try a different one this afternoon but I wasn't impressed.
  17. Looks sturdy. Perhaps came the ladder tho... it's very noticeable. The deer (where I hunt) would pick it out and be gone! Just a thought... no negative implied.
  18. Sounds great... we may cool down in about 3 months! Something like 60+ days in a row over 90*.
  19. Perhaps a trail cam to put out in his hunting area?
