  1. I visited a F&S last year in NY. It was pretty nice. The Dick's down are terrible for hunting released gear. BPS is ok... sort of. No Cabelas.
  2. The Ryder Cup is GOOD stuff! Go U.S.A.
  3. Here is my $.02. I went through several steel trailers for general purpose use and 4 wheeler hauling. Eventually, they all went south. I ended up getting an all aluminum trailer 4 years ago. It has been perfect for my needs. I tow the wheeler up to NY (from FL), then hook up the trailer to the wheeler to haul stuff into our cabin. I did not want all the extra weight of a steel / wood deck trailer, so the aluminum trailer was perfect. It has the larger wheels (for better highway use) and I have done some minor "rigging" to support my usage. YMMV.
  4. My reticle was the firedot 4 as I recall (or whatever Leupy calls their #4 style). It had no upper vertical post.
  5. I've seen a couple in Texas. The deer can become pretty sneaky and reclusive on the big plots.
  6. Very nicely done. Although I'm not a Remmy fanboy, that one is nice. Congrats
  7. When I was a kid, I (along with a friend) picked grapes one summer in Naples. About got sick of the darn things (I ate so many)! But, alas, I've finally gotten to where I will eat them again. Kinda like a cheap wine drunk. It takes awhile to un-learn! LOL.
  8. I rented it from iTunes and watched it on the iPad. It's rather intense to say the least. Well done flick.
  9. Great shot. Great deer. Great job. Congrats.
  10. I quit buying hunting gimmicks 20 years ago. Now, I just go out and have fun.
  11. The VX-R Leupold's are very good scopes! I had the 2-7 x 33 for a bit. Sold it attached to the rifle it was on. I'd buy another without much hesitation. Note to Buckmaster 7600: Not all Vortex scopes are Chinese.
  12. I'll be up for most of the month of November.
  13. The biggest I have ever personally seen was a 210# 10pt. taken near Prattsburg in Steuben. The lucky hunter was on a drive, and he jumped the buck and shot it. My own best weighed about 165 on a hanging spring scale.
