  1. Nice review (but I sure could do without the background "music"). The bow looks well engineered and should be a worthy addition to your collection for hunting. Thanks.
  2. Yep, those are galls. Generally don't really hurt the tree.
  3. Very nice mounts indeed. Congrats!
  4. I also have several pair of boots including Danner Pronghorns, Muck boots and my favorite, Schneels Pac boots.
  5. Tis a beaut! Sake's exude quality... and shoot too!
  6. Actually, I have a "newer" camo wool Beaglewear coat that gets much love... I reckon it will have to do. The old Woolwich must have shrunk!!! LOL
  7. Liking those "just because" thoughts. Maybe I'll bring the old Win 94 .32 Spl (I inherited from my Dad) up this fall. That would be fun. Now, where is that old plaid Woolwich? LOL.
  8. I used RamCats last year. Liked them enough... but was still thinking about trying something different this year. Never tried Rage.
  9. LOL. I never could show the love on SS rifles / BBL's with silver scopes.
  10. I'm basically a SS Slut... and I prefer wood / blue. That said, the Sako wears a McMillan synthetic, The Dakota 97 is synthetic and the Ruger has a laminated stock!
  11. ... On sale around here at Dick's for $99. Pretty good $ on a decent camera.
  12. I've got many rifles. My go-to is a Sako 75 in 30.06. My favorite is a Dakota Model 10 chambered in "The Bob". My bruiser is a Ruger #1 in .300 H&H Mag. My long distance is a Dakota Model 97 in 7MM Dakota. My inclement weather rifle is a Ruger 77 Compact in .308. Depends on my mood I guess.
  13. Not sure why you think it's not drivable but... How about W VA?
  14. Liberalism is a disease. I've been trying to "cure" my sister of it for years. It's a lost cause.
  15. Vortex Razor HD's are very nice. Also, check out the Meoptas. You may also wish to go over to the S.W.F.A. site and check their SampleList merchandise for some good deals.
  16. Sounds interesting... and doable. I'd also think KY might be a great destination.
  17. Always store on hooks in my "hunting" room. Full time AC is a must here.
  18. I've never had much luck with the Thermacell and gnat repellency. The high % DEET sprays seem to help a bit. They are very annoying to be sure.
  19. Really??? I've never heard that before. I'll keep shooting until I see wear (fraying, strand breakage, etc.) then I'll replace them. I'm well over that threshold now and my strings still look great.
  20. Thanks all. I don't even own a laptop... maybe the iPad will be ok. Think I will mess around with it to sort it out.
