I use the iPhone 4s and use motion x gps. It works great and you can even download maps so you can use it when you don't have service. Even though it does work really well i decided to get a real gps b/c using the phone kept killing my battery very quickly. It can be solved by getting a battery case for the phone which does give you another full charge but i just decided to go with a real one anyways. Steve a friend of mine had a camera in fhamestock for the month of nov over a scrape. Only got 18 pics but he did get 3 nice bucks but all at night. He said that all his buck oucs there are always at night. I think with the pressure of himers the deer in there dont move much during the day. I have hunted there a few times and did see one small six pointer but i know there are some real big ones in there John

Thanks guys!!! If i need some help ill let you know liwaterman lol. My brothers hunted there today and saw 7 does and a small buck. We did get another nice buck passing through two days ago. Im hoping once the colder weather comes the bucks will start moving good again. Jist got back from AC came home up 1200 so it wasnt a bad weekend to skip hunting. Ill be back out there on Thurs and be hunting all weekend. Hope to have some pics of a nice buck down before the season ends. John

Well i found out last week that the buck i was hunting last year is still alive. I got a night time pic of him and was happy to see he was still alive and on the property i have permission to hunt. I hung 2 cams there on Sunday and checked them yesterday. he was there 3 days this week during daylight in a big fresh scrape under my stand. Cant hunt this weekend but i will be hunting him very hard until the end of the season Dec 31st (long island). I really hope i get a a chance at this buck. He has been haunting me since last year when he winded me in my stand at about 35 yards and took off. Any ideas on what he will score i'm thinking 125-130. Here are a few other bucks we got on cam this week as well I'm not going to be able to hunt him this weekend but i will be out there from Thurs Sun next week and then every day from the 22nd until the 31 except for Christmas day.

I was out yesterday all day. Didn't see any deer in the morning but my brother almost got a shot a a nice 4 pointer but he just didn't come close enough. He did manage to video the buck and it was a pretty big deer for a 4 pointer. In the afternoon we hunted state land and my brother had some small game hunters walk up on him and they told him they saw a wounded 6 pointer that couldn't get up and looked like it was suffering He climbed down and found the deer and shot him so he wouldn't suffer any longer. It was a small 7 pointer. He had a huge gash in his back and couldn't get up. My brother tagged him and now he is at the butcher. I had a ton of deer coming my way as i was climbing down but i was in a rush to get back to the check station on time so i had to leave. They really need to make the check out times a little later so you can at least hunt until sundown. On a good note i did manage to get a pic of the buck that i was hunting last year. I was happy to see he was still alive but he didn't grow very much which was surprising Hopefully i will get a shot at him or the bigger one that is around before the season ends 2011 2012 Good luck to whoever is still out there hunting!!! I guess i'm just very turned off by them. I have returned so many that it just got to the point that i never had any cams out in the woods because they were all being repaired. I still have two now. one the infrared doesn't work so all nighttime pictures are black. and the other just takes random pics of nothing all day long. I set one up about a month and a half ago. it took 348 pictures of trees blowing in the wind and not one of a deer. and there was a big rub 15 yards in front of it that wasn't there when i set it up. I'm not even returning them at this point b/c i don't want anymore of their junk. I feel like using them for target practice.. I would recommend Bushnell and Moultrie as i have one of each and they never failed me. They also both take great video (with audio) and pictures. John

Strongly suggest staying away from wild game cams. They are crap. I have sent back everyone i ever bought because they keep breaking John

Thanks for the updates guys!! i will def be hunting out there in the morning and possibly all weekend. I know there has to still be some rutting going on and i have seen bucks out there chasing all the way up until the end of Dec. Sucks to hear the big ones are running wild like they were a few weeks ago but hopefully something will come by in the morning. Good luck out there and happy thanksgiving!! John
