Looking for Advice for Youth Trail Camera
Moho81 replied to Splitear's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
Browning makes a nice camera right around $100. I'll see if I can dig up pictures later tonight. Also I have heard good things about the cameras that Tractor Supply has in fact they may be the stealth camera that @Biz-R-OWorld mentioned above. If I remember right they go on sale for 2 cameras for $99.99 -
Happy Birthday Jay!

Lol. When I got my first wall hanger we did a shot of whiskey!!!! That was it. After the shot of whiskey everyone forgot I existed as it should be lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have an office chair on wheels so the soft rubber mat would not work for what I did. BUT I do think that will work really good if your not using a rolling chair. It should be quiet and insulate the floor all at the same time.

YES! Love reading this thread every year. I feel like I have learned a lot when it comes to tracking deer from this thread.

Hochul to address gun violence

So she’s going to repeal the bail reform? That’ll go along way to curb gun violence Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
One of the tricks I learned on Saturday after the 2 misfires to start the day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I never want to admit that I have it all figured out but I think I’m good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Triple 7 primers and triple 7 pellets 100gr. I think the 2 mis fires was a me issue. I put the breech plugs back in and may have not completely dried them after cleaning. The second issue was me assuming the scope was sighted in properly. It was not. Lol. As you know being a muzzle loader it’s just a slow process. Can’t just rifle off round after round. Shoot 2-3 times clean. Shoot 2-3 times clean again. It probably took 2 hours in total Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have a never ending list of my own. No need for the wife to add to it.

I assumed that as implied with the etc. etc. etc

Uggggg. Had all that and more. I don’t think I’ve ever struggled like that before. Probably made it more frustrating that I was also learning the ways of a muzzleloader at the same time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What a nightmare it was yesterday shooting the muzzleloader for the first time. Surprisingly the gun wasn’t very dirty but I still did a complete clean of it before using it. Started the day with 2 mis fires. Only the primer went off. First 2 shots not even on paper at 100 yards even though the gun was supposedly sighted in before. Pulled the breech plug and looked down the barrel at the target and the scope. Looked to be about 6 inches low. Made the adjustment to the scope and still not on paper. Put a target up at 25 yards and I’m still over 12” low. Shoot 2 more times at 25 yards and now I’m close. Shoot 2 times at 100 yards and I’m 7” high WTF! Make the adjustment to the scope and shoot again. This time perfect elevation at 100 yards 1.5” right. Load up one more round and 1” left perfect elevation again. I totaled 13 shots, disassembled and reassembled the gun numerous times learned a ton about muzzleloading from the guys that where there to help. So the day wasn’t a complete disaster but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t frustrated towards the end. To top the evening off I pulled out the 30-.06 to check zero and the scope is off again. 100 yards no shots on paper. This is the third time the cheap scope lost zero from season to season. I’m ordering a vortex to put on it before shooting it again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Considering I can hunt tomorrow morning I’m really really not close! Also not close for bow either. Peep site is still off the bow. I wanted to do some paper tuning but that won’t happen. All the gear is still is the storage totes. I’ve only shot about 8 arrows but at least those 8 where solid Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Maybe take your librarian car shopping? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree but I over think things. This is how my brain works. Maybe I’ll get this book … But this book was recommend back on page 2…. But this book was recommend more….. but then this book looks better….. this ones at my local library that’s a bonus…. Oh but what about that one back on page 2…. Then I quit looking and give up without getting a book. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How do you guys go about selecting a book to read. I feel like that is my biggest struggle. I'll look forever online at books I can get from the local library but never settle in on one.
