  1. It would have to be a permanent modification to the magazine in NY though. Something removable like that would not be legal.
  2. The new tractor was delivered today. Already put her to work clearing snow piles out of the driveway and from our front walkway. We still had 2-3 feet of snow piles up in there. The sun doesn’t get into that area much plus with the gabled roof, it just falls off and piles up in that spot.
  3. Talked to the dealer. There was insurance available through the finance company for $21 a month. No brainer. All set.
  4. Agent Biz and his partner (in more than one way) Agent Grow showed up on the scene. Agent Biz surveyed the area while Agent Grow lifted a 450lb barrel of investigator tools out of the trunk of their Grand Maquis with one hand...
  5. a Chupacabra humping the leg of Lawdwaz, who was passed out on the stairs leading to the deck. A puddle of drool was frozen to the wood and connected to his lip with an icicle. An empty 40 oz bottle of Golden Anniversary was not far away.
  6. You have to check and see, they dont send you a pass/fail notification
  7. I really dont have a problem with it. Its like renewing your drivers license IMO
  8. Some do some dont. Even if yours does, the second it leaves your property its no longer covered. The farm I hunt is not my property, and if I take it there to do some work, it wouldnt be covered. Even if I took it to my father or sisters place to help them with things, I need it to be covered.
  9. My gf was on the phone with Geico, who has our Homeowners policy, for almost an hour and they couldnt figure it out. I can just get a separate policy for now, so it gets delivered tomorrow, and then transfer it if Geico ever gets their heads out of their asses later lol.
  10. I did mine online quite some time ago. It went through in a matter of days. What did you guys expect? Half of you were laughing about it saying you were gonna wait till the deadline so it would clog their system up. The way I look at it is, its not going away just because the system backs up at the deadline, so I took care of it early and it wasnt anything I had to worry about.
  11. Im not sure. I went to check prices not long ago and they dont list Vortex as one of the brands they carry.
  12. Question for you guys. Since we financed part of the tractor, the finance company says we have to have insurance on it before it can be delivered. Any of you guys have insurance on yours, and if so, who did you go through? I need it to cover the tractor when its on or off of my property.
  13. Just as the big man strutted into the field, a string from his truck's bed rug that was caught in his bow, became taut as it reached its end, causing him to fall backwards. Just then Mike Rossi flew down from the sky riding a giant mourning dove, which caught big Brian in its talons before he hit the ground...
  14. I wanted to look at Mahindras, but we dont have a local dealer, so they came off of my short list. Ive heard nothing but good things about them.
  15. Ok, were starting one of those threads, they can be a really good time. Ill separate out the posts you guys started and get them in their own thread.
  16. Its indigenous to most of NY already...
  17. It has a cup holder, no need to have the cop hold your beer
  18. Youd be more than welcome to join us my friend
  19. I plan on giving it a little work out as soon as its delivered. We are hosting the Easter festivities Sunday and our driveway is a mess of piled up gravel from snow plowing. I need to get it all smoothed out so people can park, etc.
  20. Im no expert, but last year the turkeys I was scouting at this time, were the ones Haley and I got on during youth season. She killed her Tom the first morning. The birds were back in the field a day later, and straight into regular turkey season. If it wasnt for my blind being stolen, I suspect we would have had another on the ground opening weekend of regular spring turkey season in that spot.
  21. The property I hunt has a large section of swamp, and thats where the turkeys hang out for the most part. They cruise through the hardwoods on their way to and from food, etc but their roosting happens in or on the edge of the swamp. I have not yet found a nesting site, but you have a combo of field edge, mixed hardwoods and swamp all within a 200 yard span or less.
