Ive been thinking of having them make me some this year. Thought about it last year but didnt end up doing it. I hear great things about it.

I saw a bunch of campers and ATVs on trailers rolling around the roads this morning on my way to work. Mostly headed South. The next few weeks are what many towns in the Southern Tier depend on to survive. Good luck and be safe!

I could see alot of benefit to staggering seasons, and reducing the regular gun season a bit. Maybe take a week out of it in the middle. Multiple "opening days" along with moving the doe only chunk into gun season where it belongs would help greatly with reducing the doe numbers where needed IMO. I would like to see full inclusion of crossbows and a one buck rule put into place along with it. This is assuming everything else remains the same.

Maybe wait and see what the deer take numbers are from the DEC after this season to make a real decision on whether there were more deer taken this year. Basing anything off of what you have noticed on Facebook is a pretty big stretch. Even more of a stretch than the DEC's take numbers will be.

I never brush my blinds in, the deer get used to them being there, and the brush around them really doesnt help conceal you any. I think brushing them in may help deer not notice them as fast if its a situation where you set it up and hunt out of it right away.

You can shoot a coyote, fox, etc before sunrise, just not a deer.

I was logged on today. Not sure what you guys are doing, but I have had zero issues, and Ive been using it for years.

There are wheel spacers you can buy for them if you are worried about them being tippy. Its an easy bolt on.

Stabil is not an ethanol treatment guys. It wont protect your carbs and fuel lines from the damage it does. I use this stuff, have for years. I run ethanol gas in all of my stuff and have no issues as long as this is mixed in. Its the same 2 bucks in both pics. If youre asking whether to shoot the 8 or the spike, I say its your choice.

Ive seen double lung hit deer go 200 or more yards, liver shots, etc too. All are fatal. I also like to blast them through the shoulders if possible. They dont go as far.

I dont bowhunt out of popups, but I do use them. I tend to try and tuck them into places where the wind wont bother them. I have one setup on the nose of a ridge this year though. Its my buddys blind, and he suggested the spot. He figured the wind woulndt blow it far if it knocked it down. Its a great spot though. The blind I setup weeks before bow season is still there and has handled all kinds of winds just fine. That being said, I try to set mine well in advance of hunting out of them, but I have heard lots of people have good luck with freshly set ones.

I have to do that next week. Promised the kids we would do some this year. I havent bothered the past couple of years.

All of my stuff is ready to go. Guns checked Sunday, clothes already washed. Just need to pack some snacks and drinks for my son and I and get our butts in the blind.

I take lots of pics of the deer I shoot. Some I share and some I dont. I have everything from the typical 'hero shots' to 'buck in the truck' to pics with gut piles in them. I dont worry about other peoples pics though, whatever floats their boat.

Ive gotten deer back the same day from them before.
