I never had a chance to snap pics yesterday except 1 when I was waiting on the guys to get there. Heres how one plot looks after 2 weeks. We put up 2 new stands last night, cleared some shooting lanes and did some trail maintenance. Ill get pics one of these days lol. -

I have heard that those services donate the meat down there, but I cant speak for sure, its just what Ive heard. I would jump at the chance to participate in something like that. Looks like a ton of fun!

Coyotes are not my biggest worry in the woods. I carry in the woods for the same reasons I carry everywhere else.

The 1 1/2s are all rubbed out by me as well. I havent checked my other cam yet, which is where Ive been seeing all of the mature bucks, so Im not 100% on them yet.

Which is why I said you have to separate the two in your mind. Playing with the mouse on the glue trap is entirely different than just killing the mouse for eradication purposes. You are describing something sadistic. The OP was just about whether its sporting or not to shoot pigs from a helo. Im saying that theres no sport involved, and it isnt sport hunting, so theres no reason to even debate whether its sporting or not. Its not, and it doesnt need to be. lol

Ill get some pics from the farm while Im there tomorrow. We put a new stand in last night, will be putting 1 or 2 brand new ones up tomorrow, then moving another 1 or 2. I also have a giant brush pile that Im going to build a blind into. -
They need to be killed, plain and simple. Do you praise the mouse you caught in a mouse trap? Honor the woodchuck digging holes in your yard? Please. Im not saying they should be tortured, but being shot from a helicopter is a far cry from a sadistic act.

Sporting schmorting. Its hog eradication, not sport hunting. You need to separate the two in your mind, they dont have much in common.

Hey I was having a bad night, what can I say? I think the last few times I was getting smacked because the time that really got me, made my arm swell up so bad, the string kept tagging it after that. In my defense, I was trying a new hold on my bow hand. See how my fingers are kinda goofy on there? That grip had me all goofed up and the arm slapping stopped when I went back to my normal open hand style.

Grow those SD cards can get botched up from time to time. I had a finacky one in my phone recently. It took 3 complete formats (not in windows, with a program to write zeros) to get it to act right again. Ill PM you with info on software to use, but be careful with it, if you choose the wrong option, you can really screw up your computer lol.

Caught this video of a 1 1/2 year old that caught a glimpse of his reflection in the black flash array of my Covert Black 60.

One of the bucks that Ive been watching has been a 2 1/2 year old 9 point. I checked my camera last night, and got a video of him from the other day. He is all rubbed out now.

Id say a very nice 3 year old or maybe a 4 year old. Hard to tell with the way hes walking and kind of stretching himself out like that.

You are getting input from people with experience with Stealth cams. I have tried them in the past and had issues as well. My Moultries worked great, just had issues with LCD displays, which were easily repaired. WGIs I had mixed results with. I have had no issues with my current Coverts, but time will tell on those as well.

LMAO or just shoot more. Ive had alot going on lately and havent been practicing like I should be. My groups/accuracy werent suffering much out to 30 though. Past that and I was shooting like crap.

I have Coverts. Love them, no issues at all at this point. Battery life is outstanding.
