Yep. I have an actual fixed mag AR. The lower doesnt even have anywhere machined out for the mag release. Other than that, it functions exactly the same and I can put anything I want on it. My detachable mag ARs all fell into the lake that tragic day back in 2013....

Growing Dunstan Chestnuts
WNYBuckHunter replied to WNYBuckHunter's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
Thats how I have them now. Unheated garage. There will be alot of tight wire mesh involved when I put them out in the pots. -
what a dumbass. Just go grab road kills for that lol

Ive had my cheapo bar on my truck for 4 or 5 years now and it still works flawlessly. Thats the one that the finish on the end caps came off of. Ill be replacing it soon with one of the new DOT approved ones.

Growing Dunstan Chestnuts
WNYBuckHunter replied to WNYBuckHunter's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
A person on the internet. They sell them on ebay. I found the guy on a website and then followed the breadcrumbs to his ebay store. I spent like $25 on them, so not a big loss if they dont work. -
I decided to try my hand at growing some Dunstan Chestnut trees, so I got 50 nuts that came from 2 different Dunstans. They are out in the garage now in a tupperware container, sitting in the dark. In the spring Im going to plant them in pots and keep them in an area where they should be safe from critters. Im hoping I get at least half of them to grow. After they grow in the pots for the next year or two, they will go out back into the woods, where I have an area that I am going to hinge cut and thin some of the larger trees out of over the next couple of years.

I think thats what mine are. Most of the cheap light bars are made by 1 or 2 companies. The ones I have had good luck with are the ones using CREE diodes and have the small screws around the edge of the lens frame where it attaches to the housing. Auxbeam used to sell unbranded lights, but now are slapping their name on them. They are all pretty much the same really.

Egard watches answer to Gillette commercial
WNYBuckHunter replied to Nomad's topic in General Chit Chat
I havent even seen the commercial yet lol. I have to agree though, in a whole lot of media, men are portrayed as idiots, while women are shown as the real brains behind everything. From kids cartoons to movies and everything in between. Then theres what usually happens to men in divorce type situations, custody, etc. Most of the time, you could have outright proof that your kids' mother is a drug addict living in a ghetto crap hole, cycling new guys through like they are on a conveyor belt, and you cant get custody of them. Men almost always get the shaft when it comes to kids, regardless if they are good fathers that do everything right by their kids. It is pretty messed up when you think about it. God forbid you are a white guy, then youre really looked at as a monster by many. If people want to be equal, I mean truly equal, then they need to stop knocking others down in an attempt to build themselves up. This goes for race, sex, religion, and any other means of grouping people together. Good lord, just start out treating people as equals on a human level and go about your day. If certain people give you cause to treat them differently, then make that adjustment, but until then, treat everyone equally. What the heck is so damn hard about that? I just dont get it. -
No clue, I just buy ebay light bars, I have 3 between my truck and ATV and never any issues other than the finish came off of the end pieces on my truck from stone chips and salt. They are cheap enough to replace that I dont care. Im not paying Rigid money for them lol.

Will do. I have a 50" bar on it already, which lights things up in front of me like its daylight. Im using the same type of mounts for the cubes as I did for the bar. Just some inexpensive aluminum 2" round bar mounts off of ebay.

We ended up with about a foot and a half. I didnt Have a chance to pick up the blower, so I ran The side by side and plow every 4 hours through the night Saturday and into Sunday morning. It kept up nicely doing about a mile total (1/2 mile road, my driveway, neighbors driveway and my sisters 1/4 mile driveway). I ended Up ordering a windshield and a couple of sets of led cube lights for it. The snow blowing in my face sucked and I couldnt See well when backing up. Those issues will be fixed. I needed To turn the diff lock on 5 or 6 times, but never got stuck. That thing is a little beast.

It hasnt been just today, hes been pushing limits for quite a while now. I have no problem with people having different opinions, disagreeing, hell, plain out arguing. Sits and I have had plenty of disagreements in the past, but theyve always been pretty civil. When you sit there and rattle off a bunch of personal attacks on other members, youre asking to be banned. I dont know if he is having some personal issues lately or something, who knows.

All of the nope! When I lived in FL, I used to go shark fishing, but those were typically smaller blacktips and lemons that we would catch on and just off of the flats. I have seen Hammerheads that were longer than the 16 foot boat I had at the time. It was a bit unnerving when they were around. I was mostly worried about bulls, tigers and hammerheads down there.

Not me. Its not far off from those Ravins and I think the PSE TAC15s are up there as well once you figure in the price of an AR15 lower to attach them to.

Sits in now on permanent vacation. Now he will have more time to snuggle with his buddy Andy.

Limos are full frame construction. You have no clue.

So what about SUVs that can seat 8 people? If our Expedition had the bench seat in the middle row, it would be 8 passenger. Would you need a CDL for that? Too much grey area and nonsense. Just another poorly thought out knee jerk, reactionary proposal. It doesnt even make sense, as it wouldnt have saved anyone that day.

I use Nockturnals, havent had a problem with them yet.

What would you pay for this snowmobile?
WNYBuckHunter replied to mowin's topic in ATV's , UTV's, Dirtbikes & Snowmobiles
If someone offered you $2500 on a trade in, take it and run. Let them sit on it until they find the one buyer out there willing to pay $3500 for a 15 year old sled that was $5000 new lol. -

Those really dont sell for much, my buddy has one that is in very nice shape. If you ask $3000 for it, youll be sitting on it for a long time. I wouldnt even touch it at $1500 honestly, but that would be a good price tag to put on it and start with. -
Im sorry for your loss.
-
You know the answer to that already.

Youve seen damage to the "structure" from lifting them? Yeah, if you lift them improperly, youll end up with damage. Same thing happens if you lift anything improperly. You just love to defend anything Cuomo says. Youre nuts.

Shut the F up Donny, youre out of your element!
