Completely useless for pre shot in the field, but something to use post shot while you are sitting in the stand. If you can dial in the shot placement and angle, you can get a good idea of what organs you hit and maybe an idea of how long you should wait to track.

Man, double drops at 2 years old. That buck has some serious potential if he makes it another 2 or 3 years and doesnt get injured. Im looking forward to seeing how he progresses this year.

Theyve done it in the pst, and only paid back 2/3s of it, the precedent was set back then. Now they took the lid off of the cookie jar completely and its sitting wide open. Maybe the loss of federal funds will get them to close it back up, we will see.

Anybody seen this show on Pursuit yet? Its another show done by Deer & Deer Hunting. Its alot like D&DH TV, very informative with a little hunting mixed in. So far I like it.

Bingo, I would find a new shop right away if they don't know that. Its pretty simple and they should know that, I would also make sure your arrow flight is good by paper shooting, if your rest and nocking point is off that would mess you up too. Yup, find a new shop

Im pretty sure the other side is splitting as well. Should be at least an 8, will be able to tell for sure in the next couple of weeks if we see more pics of him.

Thanks, so they are generally an extra point or 2 on each side than what they show in Velvet? I dont have a pic, but have been seeing a small 6 point in velvet. so maybe he will be an 8 or 10? No, if you look at the pictures John posted, you can see brows, G2s and the beginnings of the split for G3s, then the main beams, so he will be at least 8 points, possibly more as he still has a while to finish growing them. Obviously you dont pay much attention, because I am not and do not stick up for VJP, and dont necessarily even agree with this article. Well, you can see that his main beams are outside the ears, looks like he will be 8 points at least, possibly more. The brows look like they are coming along pretty good, and he has decent bases. He looks to be 2, maybe 3 years old. Personally, Id give him another year, maybe 2 to really blossom, unless I had a shot during bow season (dont have a buck with my bow yet) but thats just me.
