The only time I soak any venison is when I soak the hearts in salt water for 2 days but I keep changing the water/salt so I can get as much as the blood out of it prior to cooking / pickling them.

I know it is $1400 , but it looks cool, 390 fps is pretty Darn fast, overall small size, comes with the scope also. Last time I talked to some hunters they were not confident in shooting over 60 yards and having enough energy remaining to penetrate for a quick kill shot. This might be as solution. Great shooting, I definitely agree, shooting is a perishable skill and having the ability to shoot when you want makes it much easier to keep the dust and rust from collecting on ones abilities. Keep us posted on your load ups Sent from my 9006W using Tapatalk

The gander mountain down here in Palm Beach County was better with sales people, had a huge selection of new and used weapons and one of the best gunsmith in shops I've seen. They did everything from install sights and scopes to hydro dip weapons Sent from my SM-G900T3 using Tapatalk
