Disc or spring tine harrow
land 1 replied to Team Hoyt's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
I have used both with atv i bought a brand new disc for like 600.00 and sold it didnt do the job well at all , the fields i started in were rocky and over grown i sprayed and brush hogged , the old spring harrow worked very well the first time you use it it may be a pain as they will get plugged with weeds and what not, but gets easier year after year. My spring harrow can be adjusted in depth and i never use it at the deepest setting and i plant barassicas , turnips, radish mix. My advise would be skip the disc go with spring harrow,,,, and I have found that the spring harrow gets deeper in soil then disc and you dont need to add weight to a spring as they dig into the ground on there own save some money and just buy the old spring harrow -
My hat goes out to the police and firemen that have to deal with this BS,, I would think if someone threw a brick at a persons head that it is a threat of deadly force yet we see the cops and fireman taking in coming rocks and bricks yet they dont escalate the issue ,they just try to do the best they can,

Well some one more then likely screwed up but shouldnt you get the facts before asking for his job yes its who ever pulls the trigger is accountable for his shot, but perhaps the guys who got shot were in full camo and there was no way of knowing they were 70 yards down range, I know u must be aware of whats down range but on public land its always possible and likely some one else is in woods that you dont know where or how close. Lets say a deer hunter shoots at a deer and down range from the ground his round goes and hits some one 100 plus yards away who was out of sight and not visible and he had no reason to believe that person was there....NOT saying this is what happen but maybe let the investigation take its course

land 1 replied to rachunter's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
one eye same as the above right handed left eye dominant rac hunter sounds like u may have same issue....easy way to tell put a your finger out infront of u and so it covers up an area say 20 feet away with both eyes open then do it with one eye closed ,,,, when u use your non dominant eye it will appear as your finger moved and u can see the object your finger was blocking -
