I know some of you only ground hunt for those of you that do sit tree stands, how high up do you go? Ive hear of some people being 30' plus.

Father inlaw is a mechanic and he also owns an outback. He swears by them. He drives that more than the 2017 silverado thats fully loaded

I'll hunt the heat just because i can't give up weekends. But im not far away from a water source when i do.

I use the practice head to get my arrows narrowed down to which ones fly the best from 10-30yrds in a foam target. Once i have that figured out ill shoot the best 3 grouped arrows with real bh to decide the order they sit in my quiver. I always tend to have one that just flies the best.

Not to worrired my 15day forecast says its supposed to drop to mid 50s by the end of next week. Hopefully that stays true.

I try to have it setup so encounter will be 10-20. I only like shooting to 30 at max while hunting.

I split firewood, me and kids pick blackberries, and i just stop by to talk. Its only 35 acres but it allows me to have exclusive rights to it. Minus there neighbor but he only turkey hunts. -
I wash everything beforw bow in a scent control product let it hang up to dry outside, then into a bin. Wind swirls alot on my lease so any little bit extra helps. Gun season i just play the wind. Lease doesnt produce during gun so i hunt stateland. If i play the wind there i can usually see deer daily.

Ide bring the sako for deer and bring the browning for coyote if you fill your deer tag early.

I have 3 all non hunting related. Next will be.

I only use a light weight glove on the hand i hold bow . Release hand sits in a pocket lined with toe warmers. Gun season is mechanic gloves tend to hold up better for most of the stuff i walk through.
