Nice looking herd. Quick question is it next to a house or something that has an automatic light i noticed at the clip thats timed between 8:13 to 8:24 theres a light that turns on and then off in the back. -

Thats great your mentoring someone doesnt happen enough. I remember my dad and me walking through the woods he would explain to me why the deer trails ran the directions they did. He would have me explain to him what certain things were rubs, scrapes, different tracks, ect. Turned into a game and now he comes to me for information. I would stress for a new youth or adult hunter that failure will happen its how they learn and overcome that failure that will improve their skills the most.

I dont know if you have kids but ive used swing sets that are made out of 4x4s only problem is the big boys are to big for them.

Ok so ive read alot lately of guys using evercalm. So i would like to hear some of the stories good and bad. I'm considering buying it and i think some other members may be considering it as well. How do you use it? How often do you reapply it once in stand? Which one do you use?

I took every other weekend off started last weekend till end of gun. Plus turkey day and black friday. -
Dripper has been out for almost 2 weeks on a mock scrape. wouldnt of put it out so early but i new i wasnt going back till this weekend and wanted to see if they would start working it ealier then normal. Find out saturday afternoon.

Havent shot in a couple weeks. Shot yesterday and it was bad so decided ill start shooting 4-8 arrows again every night. Today was much better shots range from 20 to 33 yards from elevated spot.. The one with red nock is my grim reaper from 20 yards.

Every where i hunt in 7m, and 7p has been loaded with acorns and apples. All have dropped for the most part.

No deer until i get to the truck back out of the parking spot i was in and here comes a little basket 6-8 trotting across the road towards where i was at. Thats about right for how last couple seasons have gone. Cold needs to get here.

Wifes almost home from salem so i may sprint to a piece of stateland and try to catch them going on to the private land. Its where i got my 8 last year. Hoping to get an hr in.

Good luck to those going out. Cant go out again this weekend oldest daughter and wife are in salem so im hanging out all weekend with the little ones. Not bad they keep me busy and laughing. But im living through everyone elses stories so hopefully some ones got a good one. Moho good luck trying to find that deer.

Tried nose jammer they still caught wind of me. Instead of sprinting away they seemed to calmly walk back the way they came. Im buying evercalm this weekend to use for the following weekend when i can get out.
