    Never killed one between those hrs but i have seen plenty of them and other deer on their feet at those times. Mainly bucks, my dad swears by 10-2 he cant sit long so he will go in at that time rather than get up at 4 with me.

    Ready for morning going to have more confidence in yardage now. Just got my new xrt6 halo range finder ready to go. Dad has same one and this is my first ever.

    So a deer comes in not your target type of deer, but its hurt maybe broken leg, limping, hit by a poor shot, ect. Granted each scenario is different i personally would fill my tag to stop its suffering. My friend says depending on the injury he would let them walk. So question #1 Would you elect to burn your tag on it or let it pass by? #2 Does DEC give you a replacement tag for putting down an injured animal if you use yours on it?(i dont have a clue on this question. Might be helpful information if someone has any idea)

    Is there another way to get into it without him knowing? If not ide call DEC let them handle it. Shouldnt have to sit somewhere else because hes acting like a 4 year old.

    XBig boys on their feet this am half hour ago a big heavy 8 and a little spike came through at 50 yards. Nice to finally see a deer and a nice buck up close finally.

    Not going out tonight but decided what a better way to celebrate my 30th bday tomorrow then skipping work and going for an all day sit. Perfect wind for my lease all day so ill start on my orchard stand then back to cornfield/food plot for night sit.

    Fun to get out with dad for a little bit. Go sight in rest of the way to 200 next weekend and bring out the slug gun. seeing how its calling for mid to upper 70s again next weekend.
