    Talk about a kick in the stones....leave house to go to work and two vehicles pass me headed the other way to the lake towing red trackers!!!! ....that ain't right. On the water tomorrow with some buddies first crack of daylight. Need to walk off that kick from this morn.

    i was thinking the cold water too. Even here it hasnt warmed up much. Different lake but we've been trolling harnesses at .8-1.0 and doing well. Good luck hope you find a good pack of them.

    Our DMV has a drop box. Just call ahead and ask what u need to fill out. All the forms are avail online. Fill them out and drop them off. I think most DMVs are doing that. Call the local office and check. I bet you can get it done and not stand in line.

    you would think it would be more peaceful in the mountains to live..lol. Lot going on there. Good show though. And yes Beth is amazing. And any show where they catch trout is a winner.

    i always figure the fishing sucks in August so i try to shoot a bunch then and thru til season. But i usually shoot a bit just cause i like to.. My buddy got a brand new bow in Feb and hasnt shot it yet???? its bothering me.

    its been a weird year for bow shooting. Shot the bow once cause i changed out nock loop. usually ive shot it some by now. Seems like a lot of others here same thing, not much shooting. 3 months and twelve days yet to dial it in.

    Looks like a good day. Your getting in some serious fishing time. Good to see. Any topwater action? Smallies ought to be postspawn and feeding hard now. Calm day and walking the dog Zara should be fun.

    Thanks. Wild game freezer needs to be filled up somehow. There is def room for fish since I didn't bag a deer. But look out in October when I fish in the morn before hunting and pretty much first deer in range is coming home with me.

    Awesome pics Bionic! I had to stop for a doe and a fawn crossing the road yesterday. The doe went over the guiderail and the fawn ran along side of it til it could find a spot to go under .

    A random Tues off and a limit of eyes. 26-28 fow worm harnesses. Caught a bunch of shorts. 2 of the perch were 12". Had doubles on a couple times but long stretches of no hits, when I would come across them almost always had multiple hits. Good day off.

    That's a difficult choice. Cause it depends on the species. But if I have to pick one it's this. Jr thunderstick in this chartreuse and orange. Never have seen one like it since. Have caught walleye, bass, trout and my biggest ever 43" northern. I retired it that day. Hardly any paint left on it anyway. My buddy named it "the Satan lure". I lost it twice when fish cut my line and it floated back to the top of the water to fish another day. Lol.

    A pretty gal that would wake you up to get out there hunting cause she wants to go just as bad. ..... Puts her into the "Hot" category. Plus imagine the hunting access she has. Def Hot! She wins.

    they changed the point system last year a bit. Dont remember it all but i think whomever has the highest accum points gets a tag and after so many years you get more bonus points. Something like that. Its like the casino showing you an ace on the table to keep you in the game! lol
