  1. ok update- deal is done . New boat - tracker super guide 16 with 40hp yamaha and terranova ipilot trolling motor. Cmon spring. And Utica tracker boat sales was great to deal with - def recommend them if your ever looking.
  2. what got my hackles up was he told me it was" the law ". So we went around about it and i got the ammo without my pistol permit for my 12 G slugs. lol
  3. for you free! and I would even take you to them. Once the water opens. This fat guy dont walk on water . lol
  4. Bought some ammo at Walmart and had the cashier ask me if it was for a pistol. I asked why? He said cause we would have to see your pistol permit. And I said ... And why is that? "It's the law we have to". I bet you can guess where this went....
  5. $500 off asking price and 2 locations for a limit of eyes on Oneida.
  6. Gloves are good for 2 reasons, clean the deer, then when done grab the heart and take them of inside out and heart is wrapped in the glove like a bag. I run up the rib cage but dont split the pelvis. I once shot two deer on opening day and my buddy asks what he could do. So asked him to go get the cart and before he got back had them both gutted and was waiting. If I had an electric knife i wouldve filleted them too!
  7. Congrats Biz! What a way to start 2020 and all the years to come.
  8. Crazy big boy. Did you see him at all during the season or on cams?
  9. ive shot the Cassity Hollow and Trenton 3Ds - both are pretty good.
  10. I say make it a baby shower gift for Biz! Hang it in the babys room. Looks like a nice mount - they did a good job.
  11. i agree at 21years old. The problem is ive invested so much into it that to close it at this point means no retirement for me. If I had that to invest myself years ago or they give back what ive put in (never happen) so therefore it will go on and just be another mess to push down the road. And again they could fund it if they cut the BS they spend our money on.
  12. And years ago companies had pensions. Those seem to be long gone for sure. Even municipalities are running away from them cause of expenses. Hopefully the 401 won't disappear to. I think this will eventually push to a govt health care system. Pensions used to cover that expense. People were more apt to retire at 55. Now you have to wait til 65 + for Medicaid or pay the crazy insurance rates. COBRA....ouch like 500 a month. I am a conservative except on health care. All the money that is taken towards BS and pork could easily cover health insurance and should.
  13. that amount is rough est only to be able to retire today. lol I am looking to retire at 60 if possible so 11 more years - it all pends on health insurance at the time. But i will def by 62 and take SS. House will be paid off and i dont need a lot to be happy, cover the basics and some boat gas in the summer. SS and cover health ins til 65. Then enough to just supplement. Hunting land is 6 minutes away, lake is 200 yards away, walmart is 15 minutes. Im set. Putting away 401 K match and a bit more now and for a while. But wish I had done more earlier for sure.
  14. this is what I have for 2030! Prob gonna be more like 2032 or 34 but in that area. I need $436,000 to retire today if anyone wants to donate.
  15. Been looking at the same thing. The reviews I have seen on the 14.5 hp rough cut trail mower from swisher that I have seen are pretty good. I was planning on one in March myself.
  16. They also offer a Chia version...
  17. Cheek chowder and cheddar bay biscuits. Perfect for a snowy winter day.
  18. we hunt a lot of swampy areas on our lease. Biggest issue is getting in there without getting busted. So thick and water esp when it freezes and is crunchy. So we tend to leave those mostly as sanctuary and hunt the edges and trails into/out of it. But depends on how big and how to access it I would think.
